Dear Wrench,

I downloaded the Philippines terrain and added it to WOE oct08 patch however every time i selected it as map for missions the game crashes. i read the readme file and all it say is copy the named folder to the terrain folder and the objects folder to object however the zip file only contains 1 folder which is Philippines. I looked around and downloaded the one from AVSIM, DL the objects and objects update. even borrowed WOV to see if its just not woe compatible but as it is its still doesn't work. I got the F-8 Philippine Air Force skin and would love to skim and bump into trees with. Add some carrier and do carrier mission on those islands.

So if you have time i hope you can help me out. thanks!

i found the HUDDATA.ini but im not sure what to do with it? theres nothing that seems to suggest how im gonna inludes the airbrakes text on normal/easy or remove the target text on easy. anyone?

Normal HUD will keep those messages.

 

For more control over labels etc you can also extract and edit the HUDData.ini

Hi MIGBuster, thanks for the reply. Im playing WOE/WOI. I dont know i can only get the airbrakes on/off label on top in easy HUD config. Where can i find the HUDDATA.ini. is it possible for you to tell me which part i need to change and to what? Thanks again.

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has a solution for this. I kinda have a shot memory span so i tend to forget the last thing i did most of the time, especially when deploying the airbrakes. Setting the HUD on easy lets me have flight info especially the Airbrakes ON/OFF displayed on screen, however it also clutters the entire screen with hundred of RED/BLUE text which is really distracting.

Can someone please tell me if i can have the HUD setting on Normal/Hard but still keep that all important flight info (Airbrakes ON/OFF)on screen? Thanks!

rename the offending menu screens to x-nameofimage, and the game will revert back to stock.

Don't get me wrong. I love the ODS campaign! it offers so much than the original. I'm very thankful of that you guys even released than for free. Its probably just a a fancy preference on my part and i don't mean to remove any value to your work. Its just for some reason i like the Traditional Medal Screen makes me feel that im really receiving an award. Please don't be sad or offended. You guys did a remarkable job on it and no one and nothing (even this minor fancy of mine) can take away. Thanks for the reply. Hope to see much more from you guys!

(If it wasn't for the legalities you could probably sell ODS as a complete package. would sell much better than WOI.)

Hi everyone. I love the Operation Desert Storm Campaign mod. the number of aircraft and the campaign itself is excellent. however i prefer the simpler Main menu and options screen of WOE especially the third wires medal box with the attached paper and script. is there a way to keep the mod and just change the display to the original when you click on the medal in the pilot records? thanks

what if i want to add this weapon rail on the F-14D mod to i have to place SystemName[009]=F14D or still retain SystemName[009]=F14A?
