The DiD Campaign Revival - Rules & Reports
corsaire31 replied to Olham's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Greenshot takes only pictures of UI in WOFF, in flight you get a black screen. I use Greenshot for all UI pics and the "K" key in flight. -

I'm in as well ! I flew OFF campaigns with RSS-SIA settings. If you need a hand on the organization, I have some free time now ! -

Help needed Mapping Controllers
corsaire31 replied to MudWasp48's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Normally there is nothing to tinker (except if you want to add Sweet FX), you have one folder (shaders30) and two files (d3d8.dll and d3d8.ini) You drop them inside your WOFF/OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields folder and that's it. -

You can always skip some days with the manual advance. Or make a lousy landing and go to hospital for a couple of weeks ! -

Just tried it and I get a boost in FPS too. I stay at 60 even at X8 time acceleration, when it was falling around 30 FPS before ! Nice find Andy, thks for the tip ! -
Damage Model Mod - where do I start even looking?
corsaire31 replied to Hellshade's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
I am also using his FM and EW Mod, Weather Mod and Ultimate Damage Mod in OFF. They all are great additions to the original OFF. -

Olham, I'm surprised your engine sound level is set at 20 ! You're missing the wonderful sound of the Mercedes on the Albatros. (my settings are 70/90/100/100) -
Does AnKor's mod work on OFF?
corsaire31 replied to UK_Widowmaker's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
The folder and two files (shaders30 , dxd8.dll and dxd8.ini ) go to "CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields" folder. That's it, can't make things simpler... Does this install have an ENB active ? ( the old ENB for OFF was a dx8, so I changed it for a dx9 ENB ) -

I installed it in OFF and it works for me. -
The farmer wants his field back...
corsaire31 replied to Hauksbee's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Can't remember having any stuttering, running 54455 between 50 and 60 fps very smoothly with Ankor's self shadowing mod and ENB as far as I'm concerned. My PC is up to date but not "very powerful". For me the new impressive AI and the fact your wingmen don't go a couple of miles away every time you turn are the main positive points of WOFF. Scenery is a matter of personal taste. -

corsaire31 replied to Hauksbee's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
We have been trying to keep it alive for some time hoping more people would come back (as they said they would when WOFF would be released), but it looks like it's not happening... the few posts here are now only copies of what's already been posted on the other forum. -
Proper Way to Exit From a Campaign Mission
corsaire31 replied to Condor44's topic in WOFF UE/PE - Knowledge Base
There is a PDF document on the OFF website with all key commands. Normal procedure to exit a campaign mission is Ctrl-Q, and you get a message asking you to press "enter" to confirm. This will take you to the result screen of your mission. Escape and "exit mission" was the procedure for OFF, many things have changed ! Worth taking the time to read all documents available on the website. -
External view, talk about immersion killer !

By the way the "Hispano" part comes from the fact that the company was created and based originally in Barcelona, Spain. And it was as you said a Swiss engineer who put the engines in aeroplanes until WW2 ( The V12 inside the Dewoitine 520 ) From 1919 onwards, the emblem of Hispano Suiza automobiles ( a swiss cross with wings ) will also have a stork on the radiator in memory of Georges Guynemer. The name Hispano Suiza still exists today inside the french group "Safran" (before known as SNECMA) and has been working among other things on power transmission and thrust reversers for the Rolls Royce engines fitted on several Airbus (A320, A330, A380, A400M) and also for Eurocopter for the whole transmission on the EC175 (developped in cooperation with China).

You've got the man ! In fact for me the first numbers were standing for the engine characteristics of being V8 at 90° ( as you said it was based on automobile engines... ) Congrats !
-
The second part ( 7 - 150 - 13 - 220) is right : Spad VII 150hp and Spad XIII 220 hp ... so it has something to do with engines as you suggested ! I didn't expect this one to last more than a couple of hours ...

Sorry elephant, it is not Maurice Boyau. As I said in the post, I made it a quick question without researching anything complicated... HPW was on the good track !
