WOFF: Screenshots and Videos
corsaire31 replied to RAF_Louvert's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
I have never flown a real WW1 airplane so it is for me difficult to say which one is closest to reality, so for the time being I will only say they are different. I am also equally flying Rise of Flight with Pat Wilson's Campaign Generator and it gets sometimes confusing between both, specially with the use of rudder, which is at times in WOFF acting more like an airbrake therefore inducing dramatic speed drop and stall. I will now be doing some hours of free flights with the planes before jumping straight in the war missions. It is a nice new feature to be able to not register free flights logs in your records. Edit : I will personally see the spring, but probably not with the same pilot. We will see... -
Here is pic of my WOFF install, can't be simpler... Then mods should have following structure : "Name of the mod" / OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields / "mod content" For this one : Hellshades Screenshots / OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields / campaigns / Campaigndata / Nations / Busy1.bmp ....

Well until now my careers have been rather short, need a lot more flying hours to master the WOFF FMs ! -
I don't think this is a good idea, much easier to have two clearly separate installs for OFF and WOFF. I have used JSGME since it was made for Silent Hunter III and I use it for many games. Always been very simple to install and use for all of them. (easier if the mods have the right structure from the start)

Winter morning take off - Kampfeinsitzerkommando Bertincourt - March 6, 1916 -
The JSGME program itself goes to the root directory of your game, for me it is F:/WOFF as I have a special partition for flight sims on my first HD. Olham is wrong, the "Mods" directory is inside F:/WOFF (or whatever your roots directory is called) as well. So any mods going inside this "Mods" directory should have the structure "Name of the mod"/OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields/... in order to install and desinstall properly. Edit : if you are using CFSWW1 directory, you are in OFF !

Have seen many of his concerts, I had a good school friend playing in his band, (who became one of the best bagpipe player in Brittany and started a music school with his brothers). I have been myself since 40 years playing celtic music ( breton and irish mainly) as singer and guitar, mostly in irish pubs. I was still playing here in Toulouse at The Dubliners almost every Tuesday ( open evenings where everyone was coming with his own instrument against free beer for the evening...) I stopped a couple of years ago, but I still go and listen from time to time. (Have to pay for my beer now...) -
This not being anymore the official forum, I think it gives us some freedom... and anyway can't be worse than what it is right now.

ENB is like SFX, it looks like the settings you have tuned, it can have many different outcomes with different settings. On top of this, you can also change your monitor settings (I have for instance "standard" with 70% contrast and 100% brightness or I can use "scenery" with 50% contrast and 70% brightness". Remember also these pics are taken early morning in spring, the same pic at 12:00 would certainly look different ! But as you say in latin, this is the way I like it (had it in OFF already), if I didn't I could always change it... -

Albatros DIII Early from Jasta 5 with same settings. -
I've been flying both OFF and ROF at the same time as for me they are not in competition but rather complementary and I have never hidden I did, be it in the OFF forums or the ROF forums. So it wouldn't disturb me at all to talk freely about all WW1 sims in the same forum.( I also fly regularly IL2 1946 , I am running a couple of freight companies in FSX/Air Hauler and making some soaring competition with Condor so I have general interest in virtual aviation )

Sure makes things look more real... I installed with JSGME so I can take it off easily if any problems arise. On external views I stay at 60 fps, when looking at the instruments panel in the cockpit it goes down to 45 fps, which it still more than enough. -
