  1. Apache Air Assault

Flying the Hind was a lot of fun too, but being able to have the nose pitch down 45 degrees without falling out of the sky was a bit disconcerting. It very much felt like Ace Combat (like the not-crap ones) to me, which isn't a bad thing.
  2. GTA V trailer released

So... there's gotta be a bunch of you here who're going to be excited about this. Probably just as many who don't like GTA and stick their boot into it. Personally, I'm excited to see the move back to San Andreas again. I'm interested to see if that Superbug in the trailer is jackable... Shame about CJ though...
  3. GTA V trailer released

It is kinda funny. There seems to be this trend in the GTA community with some people loving Vice and hating SA, and some loving SA and just not 'getting' Vice.
  4. GTA V trailer released

Jeez... you never heard of youtube?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEGRM3DaAxA
  5. Direct.gov e-petition website

That would be awesome! I set up some kind of petition to have a national flogging day for the members of the public to absolutely go nuts on the members of both houses! I'd love to paddle Tony Abbott's head (and his massive wingnut ears) with some kind of wooden bat-like apparatus. You know, like the kind we beat the English with in that game... It's like baseball, but not mind numbingly boring... you know the one Widowmaker. Seriously, that's pretty awesome! Completely meaningless, but still sweet that it's actually in place!
  6. ...is it possible for guns to have the capacity to destroy targets such as ammo bunkers and runways? I love my gunships, but the howitzer feels distinctly toothless when firing on hardened targets. On objects such as buildings, vehicles, ships, etc, they're effective, but not solid targets.
  7. I though that might be the case. The only other thing I could think of was at the opposite end of the spectrum and changing the force and projectile details on the howitzer. But that inevitably results in a sudden jink to starboard of 300kph or something similar. Thanks for your help Wrench. I think I have more testing in order...
  8. Hoooooo.... ...ly crap that bridge is awesome!
  9. Battlefield 3

I miss AI in MP. 3 or 4 mates, 10 to 1 advantage in manpower to them... that was fun. That was the recipe for some crazy Desert Combat battles.
  10. Happy Halloween (from Richie and Eddie)

Edward Elizabeth Hitler was my hero when I was in my teens.
  11. Any photobucket users here?

Are any of you PB users having issues with your images only being displayed at a res of 640x480?? I'm uploading images in 1920x1080 but I'm certainly not getting anything close to their original size. I seem to remember posting items previously and having them display in a much bigger size.
  12. Any photobucket users here?

Yeah, it seems to default to that only. I have an option for 1024x768, but it still only shows in 640, max.
  13. Battlefield 3

I also love the that the Superbug's pilot is named Jennifer Hawkins. I'm hoping it's the very same...
  14. Battlefield 3

I'm looking forward to this too, but I dare say my rig is a bit too long in the tooth to fully appreciate it. On the other hand, MW3 seems to just be an update in a similar fashion to EA's NBA Live 2009, NBA Live 2010, NBA 2011 etc.
  15. Hey, so I was going to put these in the Gen 1 screenshot page, but it seems to have disappeared... New RAAF Vulcan B.Mk.2s of 7 Sqn during the 1978 RAAF/RNZAF Bombing and Tactical Gunnery meet over RNZAF Kaipara. Bragging rights would belong to the Australian crews until the arrival of the Kiwi A-4K Kahus and F-16A Block 20s in 1986 and ultimately by RNZAF Tornado GR.3(bombing) and A-10B(Gunnery)crews from 1989 until 1995. The distinctive Cathedral Hill South East of Kaipara: The Kiwi marksmen...
  16. Eric, I'm digging that carrier with deck crews and park bugs. What is it??
  17. Il-102

But you know how it goes, the uglier it is, the more capable it is. Look at the A-7, A-6, early model Harriers and the F-4 for example. And the Il-102 is downright FUGLY!! By the transit of properties, it must have been awesome!
  18. Il-102

Check out this episode of The Wings of Russia around the 37:40 mark and you'll see it in action... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VN6x3k7SK78
  19. Someone in your flight wasn't happy about your 'relations' with his wife...
  20. RIP Yue Yue, little angel

Remember though, there are over a billion people there and much of the nation was as outraged as you that 18 people could just walk by unfazed. Weibo (akin to Chinese Twitter) was awash with outrage at these people and the seeming dip in ethical practise recently in China. You don't need a bible to understand morale, I think the nationwide angry is evidence of this.
  21. Just curious, but you can't do it via the loadout.ini? ie 3x SNEB rocket pods mounted on an TER?
  22. I'd go '86. Many of the Cold War warriors are still in service (F-4/Mig-21 etc), there are advanced AAMs but still nothing close to a 'silver bullet' like the Aim-120 or IRIS-T. Mud moving was a choice between a wide array of unguided munitions, carpet bombing, etc or the growing number of precision guided weapons. And Cold War budgets ensure capability trumped penny pinching. Yeah... I'd go mid eighties for sure. Only negative I can think of right now, no Avro Vulcans in service. *EDIT* Nope, another negative. No more Australian Navy Skyhawks or Carriers!!
  23. These are beautiful, but I have to ask: What terrain is that you're using??
  24. You could do that, but then you'd have to edit the loadouts for any aircraft that have loadout.inis like this. I personally just copied and renamed the missiles to their non-NATO designations, this will cover any aircraft you add that use the NATO and non-NATO designations in their loadout. There weren't that many in total and it took me less than 5 mins in total.
