As a newbie I wonder if I can reduce the turmoil that follows a computer btreakdown QUESTION: 1. Can I back-up < CSFS3 > + < OFF> on an External Hard Drive ? Suppose that my Windows XP computer internal Hard Drives goes down ! Instead of going through the lengthy < CSFS3 > + < OFF> installation procedure: the original < CSFS3 > + < OFF> previously loaded on an External Hard Drive would be simply transferred to the internal Hard Drive. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 How is the Program Files , usually on C:// directory, and the < CSFS3 > + < OFF> active game files , usually on D:// directory to be stored on the External Hard Drive ? Please help me june 25, 2012 I installed <CSF3> +< Over Flanders Field > about 1 year ago; ran < Over Flanders Field > almost everyday for a year. The game was operated with Internet disconnected + all other computer programs turned off. < Over Flanders Field > was not operated for the last 4 weeks, but the computer was used, including use of the Internet. PROBLEM: <Over Flanders Field > stops with ERROR meassage < CFS3 > stops in a BLUE screen . does not run QUESTION: 1. Is CFS3 the trouble here ? 2. Is there anything I can try to avoid reinstalling both CFS3 and OFF ? 3. Hi. am a newbie to OFF and to flight simulators ! Perhaps a grizzled "veteran" can help me out.; I would like to increase the height of the text font that appaears in game: For example: Quick Combat / Free Flight; keyboard "Z" =Info (Cycle) keyboard "F" =Tactical Display keyboard "Z" =Info (Cycle) gives text on left side RED , 10(?) font, a bit too small to read . keyboard "F" =Tactical Display gives text on left side BLUE, 10(?) font, a bit too small to read . Advise a newbie: Q6 OK I am trying to learn how to use the machine gun on the SE5a in Free Flight by feigning an attack on parked aircraft , tents, etc at my Take-Off field in <Free Flight> . OK, I keep on crashing because I have to aim the flight path at a target on the ground ! I haven't enough control of the aircraft yet. QUESTION: 1. Is there a better practise target, that I can actually fire on? 2. The on-screen data on the right side is in 8(?) font, too small to read . How can I increase in the font size to 10 or even 12 ? 3. This data is appears in Blue which is too hard to read. How can I change the font to White ? Thanks for the help! sparrowhawkms

OK I can take-off and land the < SE5a Hispano -Suiza> in < Free Flight >, I even can use the elevator and rudder trim to maintain the aircraft heading acording to the TAC display for a minute, but the aircraft drifts off (due to the wind ??) course as determined by the TAC display. QUESTION: 1. The instrument panel of the < SE5a Hispano-Suiza > does not show the compass clearly enough to read. a few other meter displays are also not clear. How does one Navigate using an external printed Map and a compass that can't be used ? 2. Are the instrument panels of ALL the WWI aircraft in OFF similar? 3.. The HUD Gauges 1 to 5 are displayed over the instrumeny panel, but almost impossible to read, since the meters are not clear. Is this normal or do I have a problem? sparrowhawkms

Hi ! I am a newbie^2 besides NOT knowing about OFF , this is also the first fiying program I have ever tried ! < Quick Combat/ Free Flight > starts with a aircraft parked aircraft. I flew it and landed OK, making sure to reduce Throttle to min, and using < Mixtrue Idle Cut Off > keyboard command to turn-off the engine, the aircraft rolls to a stop ...since there are no Brakes. QUESTION: 1. What is the movable circle, about 2 inch dia ( 5 cm) marked at the top at 12 o'clock: [ 24 NM ] at the bottom at 6 o'clock [ 8 NM ] ? [ All ] during flight, a green radial line projects from the center to the circumference, and it seems to vary its position as the aircraft banks in 180 degrees. 2. What do the irregular 10 ea blue 1/8 inch blotches represent? 3. Where is the explanation of that circle ? 4. what commands cause the circle to be shown. Suddenly there is NO circle ! Is that because I must have removed it by random striking of keys on the keyboard ? a lot of questions ! Hope somebody can tell me the answer to question 3 ! sparrowhawkms
