Tried it a hundred times. The X file middleman and mdl commander produce never work with the X importer for 3ds for me, completely put the breaks on Hawk 75 I was doing for CFS.

Both the 29 and 31 are on my to-do list, since it looks like nobody else has plans to make them AFAIK. Fubar? any news on the raptor?

Buying a model off of turbosquid and making the necessary modifications is a far better idea than sending jsf aggie to leavenworth.

Would diagrams with cross sections of the fuselage and wings be something he could give us? Nothing about components, just the body shape to model it accurately. I was going to start work on porting a JSF from a source model on turbosquid, since I haven't found good enough resources to build one from scratch, to an accurate enough representation to avoid taking tons of flak from whiners. I'll be showing my progress on something pretty that I've been working on soon that should make a nice adversary ;) Oh, it'll be a good plane, but it could never fill the A-10's job. Low and slow tank busting isn't exactly what you'd want to do with a brand new stealth fighter.

nobodies giving up on this game. You could ask around in the FS community if anyone is willing to send a source file. The problem with FS planes is alot of them are made in either gmax or FSDS. Neither are friendly towards getting a file into 3dsmax, which is what's needed for SF.

Well any human vs AI matchup in SF is bound to have the same result regardless of aircraft unless there's a huge gap, like an F-15 vs a mig-15. Try taking that foxbat online against a real person in a tomcat!

Everything from each sim works in the other sims, just the right files have to be copied over. I merged everything into one huge strike fighters install. practically an entire hard drive. And yes it takes forever to load, but what do you expect with 30 gigs of mods and addons in one application? Missions don't take long though

I'd rather have SF's graphics AND framerate. Pretty good show, though I couldn't stand the advertisements for it.

Who's working on an F-35 already? I've kept my eye open as I'm working towards a modern/future campaign set using it...It'd be nice to not have to make one less out of the two dozen or so planes that haven't been started by anyone.

C,K and M migs? I was only aware of the A and G being available. I downloaded a skin that said install to the mig-29K and was baffled that there was a skin for a plane not yet made.

BPAO was working on it, but has a number of other projects, just asked USAFMTL about them today.
