Well what the hell else can you call random poor people without any education or consistent job? And actually, quite alot of contact, illegal, legal and natural born. Have you seen any of "upstate" New York in the last 15 years? Everywhere from New Rochelle and White Plains up through Peekskill, Newburgh and Poughkeepsie, most of the population growth is hispanic immigrants, plenty illegal.

Sanctions come with action behind them. Cutting of diplomatic, economic ties, embargoes, travel restrictions. And military action is the final stage. And FC, see the language used in talking about the UN, the intent is very clear they're teaching a particular view, that the UN and international organizations undermine the US. Knowing the UN very well, it's so terribly absurd I can only begin to explain. Very simply, the only things that have any force of law is the Security Council, International Court of Justice and International Criminal Court. The ICJ resolves disputes between states much like a civil court does between people, the ICC tries war crimes. You already know we have veto power, so the security council can never take action against us.

Wish List 1-2-3
eraser_tr replied to Spinners's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
That's all I'm concerned with anymore, or even just an IL2 or CFS3 style dogfight oriented mission editor. Otherwise a real F-18C and D just about completes the stable. -
Amen! Don't blanket all entrepreneurs and capitalists as exploitative. Otherwise, yes, it shouldn't be so damn difficult. In the 1800s we had boatloads of immigrants, they came, stopped at Ellis Island and we got a record of them and they were here legally. Done deal. But now we have a complicated process of visas and consulates that the everyday peasant who wants to come to America can't understand or afford. So they just come. As I just said in the other thread, a giant distinction has to be made when talking about illegal immigration.

Iran isn't going to jump into the fray if dear leader does something stupid.

That about sums up everyone I know who's muslim...with the exception of drinking. The only one who's a bigger alcoholic than this one pakistani girl is her best friend. There's gotta be some accurate way of distinguishing the bats**t crazy ones from the normal ones. My bet is on facial hair. like this f***er who was stopped in pakistan from getting on a plane with electrical circuits in his shoe.

F-18F II
eraser_tr replied to Romflyer's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
By not having any weapons packs, you are really missing out on alot. Especially if you want to fly modern planes, either F-18F can be fully loaded with AMRAAMs. -
Well said. Didn't we have a long discussion a while ago about legalizing marijuana? Making it legal gets rid of the whole cannabis end, leaving just the synthetics to combat, which are the real dangerous drugs.

So trying to inject some popular humor from the 'net is brainwashed and stupid s**t....yeah.

Vid card going bad?
eraser_tr replied to FalconC45's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Aside from drivers, it could easily be a heat issue. I get artifacts like that if my card gets too hot. And how hard the card works may not always make sense. If I leave Arma sitting unattended for more than a minute or two, it hangs and gets corruption like that and I can hear the fan going into overdrive but that doesn't happen in far more graphically intense games, like Far Cry 2. -
SF2 Expansion Pack 1 released

f***! now I'll never get this 45 pages of term papers finished! -
Well the alcohol swab I guess is just in case of that last second call from the governor to cancel the execution. But how much would that suck, getting your life spared at the last possible instant, and then dying of an infection three days later.

Ahahaa just as insulting as the bacon ak-47. But knowing these f***ers if they try a carbomb over a f***ing cartoon, that will only make them swarm out of the woodworks and attack more people.

Weird, yes. Wrong as in should have legal ramifications and punishment, no way! But since this is the UK, what if he's just Scotish? Ok technically that's a kilt, but that's like saying there's a difference between a blouse and a shirt. So are they going to charge an entire heritage when they wear skirts? What about a guy with a beach towel wrapped around their waist and bending over? would they get charged the same way?

Guerilla warfare meets cruise missiles. This has disaster writen all over it.

Yeah, it makes no sense at all. A brick wall isn't going to give way like that and the car look undamaged, even if poorly constructed. But if its some kind of art or gimmick, how does that explain cars below being damaged by debris?

People can survive months without food true, but water? Anything more than 2 or 3 days and you're pushing it. Meditation/praying has been found to be good for your health, but there's a long way between the stress relief and psychological effects being beneficial for your physical body and it magically negating the need for nutrients and minerals for a body to maintain itself.

Well I can safely rule out sprint for our next carrier when the verizon contract is up. Well at least the Apple store would probably have them in a heartbeat. And they can sue sprint and have a pretty good chance of winning.

Has anyone managed to get the name of that damn thing right? I just call it the "f*** I'll never pronounce that" volcano in iceland. Jon Stewart decided to rename it Kevin

They have good coverage. They have a large selection of phones, and the only people that offer the touchscreen blackberry. Umm, thats all the nice things I can say about them. My whole family has had them since around ~2000 and as soon as the contract is up, we plan on dumping them. They sell you phones with X,Y and Z capabilities, but lock them so you can't use them. ie taking pictures and transferring them to your PC with the right connectors, but NO you have to use their service and pay per picture when it could have been done free directly to your PC. They map out the accessing the internet button so that you can easily accidentally hit it, and when you cancel before you actually connect, they still charge you the initial connection fee (I think its like $2.00) Their customer service doesn't listen, changing anything with an account requires the person it's named under plus a complete joint secret service, FBI and CIA background check in order to change things. Yes they require that much verification information for even tiny changes, like disabling text messages on 1 phone. AND THEN THEY DON'T DO WHAT YOU ASKED.

First there's the story about the woman who fell off the Wii pad and is constantly aroused by even minor vibrations last week. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/04/14/amanda-flowers-claims-wii_n_537242.html Now there's this story about a woman who had a severe migrane, and now she's speaking with a chinese accent. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/04/21/sarah-colwill-british-wom_n_545040.html What the hell is going on over there? Ladies, evacuate Britain now before you wind up with another hilarious medical condition. What else can they come up with? It's like an episode of House or this scrubs episode where one of the patients heard everything as singing.

Actually HW Bush had fewer casualties occur during desert storm, or if you add up Somalia and Kosovo, even fewer casualties under Clinton. But none of those were prolonged wars. It really has little or nothing to do with who's in charge (beyond the decision to use troops in the first place) so much as the training and equipment our forces have. Similarly with an all volunteer military, the soldiers are more committed.

F-105 air superiority fighter variant.
eraser_tr replied to KJakker's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
A2A is quite a big deal. Fighter cover for your own bombers so they can reach enemy targets and support the army, and keeping the enemy's bombers from pounding your guys. Look at the battle of France or anywhere else the germans had total air superiority early on. Or look at desert storm or allied force, air made those conflicts the successes they were, indeed that was from their ground pounding, but they were by no means only "supporting the army." The "commie crates" in IL2 are quite good, not surprising as they came from a former soviet aeronautical engineer as a developer. If he had done the migs in SF, they'd probably wipe the floor with any American plane instead of accurately representing strengths and weaknesses. Just with a pure F-105D I've done very well in air to air against migs, far better than I've ever managed in a Hun and without any real adjustment in tactics.
