If you enjoy building models, and better yet Nascar models, you have to check this site out. Great Model site!! Be sure to look at some of the wiring they do and these are the same kits you can pick up at the local hobby shop 1/24th or 1/25th scale kits.

Ok so iracing has announced the pricing for their new pay to play racing simulator, check it out iracing pricing now here is my thoughts on this: Using the full-year subscription: $13 per month X 12 months = $156 per year or Using the 1 month at a time subscription: $20 per month X 12 months = $240 per year Say you want all the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series tracks... 22 tracks X $15 (min. price for a track) = $330 or the max price for tracks... 22 tracks X $25 = $550 ...and a bunch of different car mods to run in...we'll be conservative and say 6 mods. 6 mods X $15 per mod = $90 So the grand total per person using the minimum standards: $576 and the grand total per person using the maximum standards: $880 Say you want to start a league...each person will need the above. So for a 15-member league, iRacing will be making this much money: ($156 per year subscription + $330 for tracks + $90 for mods) X 15 members = $8,640 minimum ($240 for 1 month at a time subscription + $550 for tracks + $90 for mods) X 15 members = $13,200 maximum I for one will not be giving john henry a penny of my money, I will continue to play and race nr2003 with the free addons and mods.

Star Trek Legacy, after waiting so long for this title it was so buggy, and the MP still has trouble, even in XboX. While this is my first port, I have to say it will also be my last. If not for the modding community this title would be totally dead in space. they did release 2 patches for it, but they broke more than they fixed. They release a title knowing that the Star Trek name will sell it, and then nothing, they quit stopping by the official forums, and stop answering e-mails, I guess they got their money and now are happy. Thank goodness for the modding community, once again a community saves a game. The other disappointment was the windows Vista OS, so much was made of it, and then they released it, oh what a mess, it was and still is, worse than the early Wal-Mart release of Strike Fighters. No support of alot of hardware, such as printers, joysticks, and alot of software.

I see you are one of the unfortunate vista owners, ok heres the fix, uninstall vista, get a stable OS and then try it again. I think like everyone you will need to make some changes to your codec pack.

It never ceases to amaze me how every time something bad happens to a vet it is PTSD, and they blame it on the war. yes I am sure that some of the things they saw, or were party to was bad, and I am sure it scared them mentally. I am a vet and I have found that most learn to deal with the transition bad to the real world and never have so much trouble that they end up killing. I am sure different people handle things in different ways but my question is how big a percentage is the 121 reports compared to the number of vets who have gone through the system? How does that number compare to the number of civilian deaths in say L.A. or NYC? I believe that alot of this is people just trying to sell papers, and use it to make a political point. I may be wrong but that is my opinion, BUT get me wrong, I am not saying they didn't need help, or that they won't need it in the future, as everyone owes these guys a debt of gratitude for their service, BUT lets not start pointing a finger and screaming PTSD before the actually facts and numbers are out. I am sure for everyone of these guys, or ladies, there are hundreds that have dealt with the same emotions and feelings. Yes it is always sad for a warrior to return home and them end up doing things like this, but I can not just believe that every young man or woman that returns home is going to end up a stone cold killer.

Oh man this just keeps getting better and better, find a cool place and relax! I'll keep watching and waiting.

Like he said, the Jammer is useless against some of the sams, and I would have to say even the SA-6 can beat it, the best thing is to drop your flares and chaff, and turn and run. Better to fight another day, and when you use it be careful, i turn it off and on. I am not one to tempt fate so I always carry a HARM or 2, never can tell. also it depends on mission type, as I might fly low and fast and use a pop up attack. I don't know how real world pilots do it, but I can say I have alot of respect for them after a few missions in this sim.

Having been a Colts fan since they were in Baltimore and had Johnny U. under center, and I have to agree with fates. I think they are ripe for the picking. all I can say is GO BLUE!!

From the Star Trek legacy end of it there were ALOT of great mods, and I used up alot of HD space with them all.The ones I want ot mention are Ultimate Universe, TLG, Trek Wars, Lagecy OEM+, I told you theres so many. I would hate to have to pick a favorite at this point.

What flight sim has the best modeling of ECM?
Dagger replied to TheChief2000's topic in Military and General Aviation
I don't know alot about the real world, but I like Falcon 4:Allied Force. I mean if you leave it on to long it can get you killed fast.I use it like a radar jammer or detector in cars, off and on.I also found that flying low and fast works, chaff and flares are good things to have around also. -
Thats sad, I really enjoy a good rally, and this one is the best.

Dagger replied to kh606fp's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Guys, he is here asking for help, it sounds like something is corrupted, or a bad install. are the migs you are installing the same ones, I mean from the same site?It does sound like someone has a bad install of the aircraft files. -
I'll head right over there and get it!! I'm working on a way to get past our 500 meg D/L limit, if i can figure a way I would be happy to host it here also. Thanks for all your hard work. This one just keeps getting better and better.

I Liked Lock on until i played it and once you add the only add-on you get star forked on your system, plus it's a really good looking sim, but lacks the depth of Falcon 4 or Janes F-18. The Thirdwire family of sims are really good in that you can add-n and it doesn't have a steep learning curve. I pushing 200 hours in Falcon 4: Allied Force and while the learning curve is steep, and I unless I have a bunch of time I avoid ramp starts, Falcon 4 would get my vote if you want a sim that will push your mind, just like a real Falcon driver, and I added the High tiles terrain, I really liked that, along with some of the newer pits. Thirdwire I fly alot as they have the looks and the planes i want, Lock-On is now a coaster and will remain that way after the way they slipped star forked in it. Yes it's a pretty sim, but not nearly as hard as Falcon.
