  1. The original hercs where painted white over natural metal. Later they were white over grey Transparency will be more important on finished model like the all grey one. Will also correct the camo scheme as the one used by the RCAF was really like the one on my wip.
  2. Could not resist to work a little more on these :) In-game screenies of the 2 WIP early schemes
  3. Sometimes they are already done and sometimes not :) It's not that hard to do. You will find that doing skins might be headaches sometimes but when everything is done and work properly you will have great satisfaction. I'm considering myself new to this also :) But the learning will never stop and will get better and better.
  4. Do the decals you are refering have the 4xx codex? regula50 pointed the sequence needed for the numbers to show properly BUT did you do new decals for the 4xx numbers? You not only need to change the numbers in the .ini but you need to redo the decals too...

File Name: CT-156 Harvard II File Submitter: 1977Frenchie File Submitted: 17 July 2017 File Category: Other CT-156 Harvard II for SF2 ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Based on the T-6C Texan II made by dtmdragon (which is based on Dels work). Original dtmdragon plane can be found here : http://combatace.com/files/file/15102-raytheon-t-6c-texan-ii-for-sf2/ ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is the CT-156 Harvard II as used by the RCAF 15th Wing for the SF2 series of games. To be used on dtmdragon T-6C Texan II ONLY. (have not been tested on Dels planes as the PC-9, AT-6B and T-6A, but some if not all MIGHT work). The CT-156 Harvard II is a variant used for pilot instruction in the NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC), located at 15 Wing, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. They are leased to the Royal Canadian Air Force by the program's administrator, CAE. NFTC's Harvard II aircraft are almost identical in cockpit layout and performance to the American JPATS Texan IIs. Within NFTC, students fly the Harvard II in Phase 2 and 3 of the training program, and some will go on to fly the CT-155 Hawk jet trainer also used by NFTC for Phase 4 (Moose Jaw) and Phase 5 Fighter Lead-In Training (4 Wing, Cold Lake, Alberta). NFTC had 25 Harvard II aircraft owned and maintained by Bombardier, although one was lost following a non-fatal crash in 2011. CAE took over the program in 2015. Although the CT-156 is a version of the T-6A, i prefered to use the T-6C Texan II in order to get the version with wing hard points, intelligence/ surveillance/ reconnaissance capabilities, a digital glass cockpit that includes a Head-Up Display, six multi-function displays, Hands On Throttle And Stick. Also, you may use weapons with it while the real aircraft is not intended to use some (in the RCAF). These skins represent the scheme used by the RCAF on their CT-156 trainers along with the ''vintage'' scheme use on aircraft 120. The serial numbers in this skin pack along with planes numbers are real one's. You will get the following skins in this package : 15 Wing : Serials 156101 to 156126 (except 156120) : Regular scheme Serial 156120 : Vintage scheme Two installation choice : SKINS ONLY (assuming you have the dtmdragon T-6C already installed): Copy the FOLDERS of the current pack objects/aircraft/CT-156/RCAF AND RCAF(156120) folder in your game T-6C aircraft folder. 11. CP-140 Aurora

My pleasure to share! It is common sense for me to give a little to this great community of this site as i could grab (and make better) my SF2 sim :) I enjoy doing skinning from time to time (back in the Pacific Fighters era). Currently working on another little project :) As for the introduction of the Low-Viz scheme, i remember having seen some transport aircrafts painted this way in 1993. But it could be before this :)
  12. Did the 407 and 415 early schemes alongs with real serials numbers. Some little work to be done on these in the next days along with the 2 grey tone. Let me know what you think!
  13. Finals checks made. Cleared for Takeoff :) On the upload road.
  14. Skins done (Hi-Viz and Low-Viz) but last 2 days been very busy so no further work have been done. Will do proper checks tomorrow and will upload the file if everythings is ok to me.
  15. Had not a lot of time to carefully check the Hi-Viz today but i'm pretty satisfied with the result. made a few adjustment to decal placing. Also started the Low-Viz of the 407 squadron and planning to work on the 415 tomorrow. As for the Low-Viz, pretty advanced on the skinning. Some areas have to be checked as there are color mismatches alongs with color details to change on the wings. But as you'll see a good part have been done :)
  16. Maybe i will made a Brazilian skin as i already completed at 80% a P-3 skin (different then the CP-140). Will check after i'll have done the Low-Viz CP-140 (only have to do the grey tone decals). Plane skin is almost already done :) Will post a pic of this tonight. I also have in mind which plane i'll do next (an easier one to breath a little).
  17. Corrected the decals placement to fit the real CP-140's. Now just a few final check and i'll be done with this one (my biggest skinning job up to now) :)
  18. Just saw minors error on my template that i will correct and there is minor bugs on the template itself. Will also add some little things here and there tonight. After this, let's do the Low-Viz :)
  19. Really close. As far as i'm concern, skinning is complete along with decals (serials and numbers). Just a few things to check in the next days and will release the Hi-Viz version. State as for now :
  20. Almost there... Wings done Fuselage at 98% Engines done Props at 50% Will do a few more things (like serial and plane number placement) along with folders for both squadron then look if i'm satisfied. Will surely put something on this post tonight to show you the almost completed skins. Will then work on the Low-Viz skin. See ya!
  21. A few more thing done Upper wings completed. Engines almost completely done. Repainted the ladder and tow bar. Lower wings have their generic lines and rivets done. still needto add more details. Fuselage still need some lines and rivets. Need to add the squadron decals along with serial numbers and plane numbers, But it begins to take form :)
  22. Some little work done today. Upper left wing complete at 95%. Generic lines made for the left underwing Started generic lines on the engines So it goes slowly but still going forward :)
  23. To be honest, i did not look yet the C-17 pack :) But i could send you pictures taken of the CC-177 and CC-130 (H and J version) i took as you will havethe current template used by the RCAF.
  24. I will be glad to help if i can Wrench!
  25. Back from the airshow and it worth the run. The whole family loved it! Just to ear the gentle roar of the Mustang Mark IV Merlin engine, pure music! A shame my camera broke in the middle of the day, but memories can't be lost (for now :)) So i could not get a lot of pics of the CP-140 but i made a few turns of the bird to see some details. I started back the generic work on the upper wing and will continue tomorrow along with the underwing. Will do the ''secondary'' lines and rivets after on the whole thing, then add some details. So still a lot of work ahead to get this done. Do not know what bird to skin after, but will be an RCAF one for sure. CC-130, CC-177, CF-188, CT-156? you have a preference? Will have to choose after the CP-140 :) Unless wrench release soon the CF-100 (kidding, just saw a pic in a forum and hope to see this one day).
