My Projects (EricJ)
Canadair replied to EricJ's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
thanks for the article, it is a very interesting read. I read somehwere there was a reason for the pylons, and as much as it is @weird@, if those are the pylons, that should be in the model. period. And agree with you. We can discuss SH flaws and pros from enginnering and operational point of view, but that should not stop anyone from downloading wanting or be thankful for the model. Otherwise we should discuss ,, the F-104's issues for example... Again, can' t wait for this, thanks FC and EricJ, and all thos einvolved -
My Projects (EricJ)
Canadair replied to EricJ's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
Well, like that "Rhino" is taking up all the roles; actually more roles than the rhino. I wonder if they are thinking of a Antisubmarine version of the superhornet. By the way, what is the operational range of an AMRAAM, in the latest versions?? And what are the plans to contrast the very long range AA threat by missiles of the K-100 series, assuming they are operational? Also, as much it is considere reasobale aerodinamically, those angled pylons are really.. well,, weird.. (maybe it is OT and distracting thoguh. This post is admirable and surely is raising the anticipation for the superhonret, a plane that one likes it or not, is actually the biggest thing to hit naval aviation recently, aside from maybe the french rafaleM.) thanks ericJ, thanks FC -
Can't wait for the New Transformers, and hopefully I will watch it in english and undubbed. GIjoe sounds intersting too.

Interesting. so you mean different campaigns set. country specif or diffrent installs? Although a one and everything would be good as well. We can work on the Italian side (for the little that there is to do) if you guys ar eintersted. . I have plenty of first hand reports, and I honour myself in knowing many pilots that actually flew in Desert Storm. -

It is okei, it doesn't matter. I am interested in helping and doing a campiagn 2.0 version, it think it is a good project, worth pursuing, in the spirit of readme .."men and women that gathered under one flag to stop a mad man" -

LOL . .but a little uncalled for. I don't see anything rude in my post. I just asked if it was a good idea to start a project I wasn't whining, I wasn't demanding. Actually I said "I am doing this for myself and I dlike to share and help, and I obviously know that you guys said it will be eventually be done" I Like the mod, I think it is lovely and an excellent historical research. I understand all the reason behind not including the coalition forces, in this first release, they compltely make sense. I just wanted to help, eventually, and share what I was going to do for myself. Seriously, there was no reason to answer. I understand you guys don't want the project picked apart, I am not. Also being defensive I understand as well. But you have the wrong target, and there is no reason to give me snarly answers, thank you  (and yes there plenty of decent CAF skins) -

Anyone interested in doing a "quick" mod about adding the missing air-forces? should not be a difficult thing, mostly is a problem of getting the proper informations about bases and squadrons and loadouts. We need Italian, French and Canadian forces. We have tornado with desert skin, we have a mirage 2000, and we have CF-18 should be easyenough, anyone feels like helping me, or is anyone already working on this? -

I know Fubar knows more, I was sort of asking why. It is a lovely bird and would fit well in the growing number of flankers being released. And everyone knows I have a "Flanker Fetish" Fubar, what do you think? -

eh no. Mica così semplice liquidarla così.V Visto come funzionano le cose negli USA: cioè indebitamento, welfare inesistente, sanità pubblica fantasma, ammotizzatori sociali spompati.

Sad but true. Go figure the laws of the free market- If only the managers knew what they are doing. MS shuts down what works and continue what does not ( I still have and use a lovely FF2 joystick, god only know why they discontinued it) edit. found this on a blog and I cutting and pasting with no comments. Alan Feekery 22 Jan 2009 at 5:06 pm PST i think its rubbish that people lose their jobs due to a profit decrease. a profit decrease should not be considered a loss since it is money being gained in the first place. Andrew Heywood 23 Jan 2009 at 1:35 am PST It's not being considered a loss, it's being considered 'a bad thing', which it is. If companies waited until they started _losing_ money before taking action like this, they'd be shafted - it's too late by that point. John Petersen 23 Jan 2009 at 3:34 am PST So where do we go from here? I'm just kinda curious about if we haven't reached a plateau economically. There is only so much money that can be had, and there's only so many houses that can be built. Then what?
