  1. Now you have to see this. I thnik we are making a great team effort in sorting this mod, and tweaking it to perfection after CA_stary awesome work Please note this issue. Forsimplicity's sake I am showing just map view, but th artifacts DO show in 3d world mission single, 4 ship strike F-105G, armourdave's I think note the the missing tile? now a lokk at target area here we see both missing tiles and artifacts now let's change plane. actually only leader plane, we change for a cute A-5B, with the cockpit downloadable here at CA look good eh? and target area looks good too Now th ONLY differenxce in between the missions is that I changed the leader f-105G for the A-5B(hit refly, loadout, change plane) It happens both with 512 and resized 256 terrain tiles I wonder what happens if I open or close the computer room's door.. I had similar problem in woe, and in that case test plane was a G-911 with hunter 3rdwire cockpit. n that case problem went away using default tiles and not max188 I think, that this could be memory related, and the culprit being the F-105 cockpit, but I have to test any ideA?

For some reason the water effect shader cause problems, maybe just in the medium water setting I have to use.. Also it happened to me that two sea textures, I suppose from deuces, but I may be wrong, were interfering, Vietnams1 and vietnams2.tga.(their size one meg) They can be removed and the terrain will use the default ones in the .cat file.

  11. ncredible; I am speechless; initially I avoded brain32 tiles, even if used his tods profusely. But this was a great marriage between brain's tile and Stary,'s tods And as rarely happens for eye candy, it has an impact on gameplay Let me explain. In the (sadly, but necessarily censored by CA staff) vietnamsea data and types I published, there were a lot of target areas, representing hochiminh truck farms, and routes. (somethign from me, something from the FREEWARE version of YAP, that I had received permission for, and once published on CA, and something from the VMAF-531 set of mission from comptntr , who gave me permission,. Troops, hamlets, trucks are now often hidden by the forest. With the hud set without the red square, missions are really now turning into, a "bomb that piece of forest" in a Flight of the Intruder's fashion. Looking for secondaries, to prove you have hitten something, and the tracer and flak erutpting from the jungle Now we can say, really South east asia, as it was. I would like to release the Protective reaction campaign I designed, but,,is anyone itnerested?

  18. I have a giant (over 25 gig) SFP install, completely merged. It was a hard project at the beginning, but now it works flawless, with all the terrain and campaign and weapons released Also a deidcate Wov and natofighters (modded) Woe. And a WWII for BoB and other purposes. DS, though will have a dedicated install, in the least at the beginning.
  19. Actually harlingin is perfect for the airshow scene where the Bf109 strafe the CAF display. What I needed was the secret hidden in the desert airfield, where the BF-109 operate from, that is the resort I meant.     Well, many things you do can affect the campaign. All the static aircraft (fighter and bomber types) are drawn from the campaign squadron, so destroying them would directly reduce the number of aircraft they have available. Similarily, destroying tanks affects the ground units strength. Transport aircraft (both on the ground and in th air) "carry" virtual supply, so their destruction reduce the resupply the unit is set to receive. There are other indirect effects, destroying hangars may also reduce the number of aircraft they have available in the future, and destroying warehouse and fuel tanks also affect their supply status. But these effects are more indirect, and may not be noticable from mission to mission." TK
  24. With all respect, I don't think so. AI flights, NOT PLAYER's mission do not release their guided weapons, mav, lgbs or whatever, unless they are on CAS or SEAD mission, in which case they will attack. Try escorting a flight of bomber armed with lgb, or cruise missiles, adn they won't attack. Has this been changed in WOI. And in case that works in SFP1, (f only!) please tll me since I dlike to fix that
