Canadair replied to Wrench's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
HEy wrench, I don't WANT or DEMAND anything, was just a suggestion! On the other hand thanks gor taking the hint, and yes I was meaning something like that..is there a way to make it more,,,festive, like air-show scene, fun for BF-109 to strife like they do in the book?,, hmhm maybe adding a few buildings aroud the apron. but again I don't want to demand! And wrench they should be all US and Brit planes in the airshow target area. And are redoing a SOCAL? because we badly need a new topgun campaign, with TA-4J agressors as well, so I will do redflag, on ASW, and grey eagles, and topgun on socal wrench, number one! -
Vedremo...

Is there a way to enable a free-view? And how do I change zoom factor, and outside view (f6) centering? I dlike to take good nose art screenshots, and the setup does no help -

F-302 Mongoose? And I might need a segret airfield with a resort, I mean a villa, or something like that, and yes the commerative aviation sites.. and I can try the campaign. If you can get the book, it is awesome. Gray Eagles, by Duane Unkefer -

Have you been thanked enough for the magnificence of those skins? I am in a big nose art moment and they are just awesome Thanks again, must have been a terrible job. Can we have more? -

Wrench, buzzing that sign about titty twister in Satanic pandemonium nose art would be a cool pic eh? -

Grandiosa TailGunner con la strofa "no radar lock-on, skin and bone, the bomber boys are going home", o la strofa finale "the enola gay was my last try, no more tailgunners, just one big bomb"

Taarna is the Warrior Lady from Heavy Metal, that French SF animation Satanica Pandemonium is Salma HAyek from the movie "From Dusk till Dawn" (which is cool, because I named that skin properly even without opening the tgas with alpha channell) I don't know the others though, and kev you are ignoring my request for target areas as specified above for asw, and the book. -
A while ago I posted this: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=4856 Which I use also in WOV terrain; the files contains gundata modifications in order to have more effective flak (i.e. dangerous puffs of smoke which will destroy you, or damage you, and not just explode there for the show) The warhead weights value where upped according a formula I had made, based on various topics here and on 3rd wire forums,, and that I can't find again,, (it happens after 6 months away from home). And yesterday evening I got blown up several times over SEA and last time in a phantom at 20000 ft; I guess I overrated the ks-30 gun. I lowered the value (to 500000) and will exepriment again On the other hand, seeing a more realistic flak a benefit for all and in the hope to widen to experiments numbers and researches, would it be reasonable to make this a sticky, along the lines of the soviet AA missile one? My modded file could be starting point, not because is perfect, but because I experimented with it.. what do you think?

Sorry; that you believe it or not, it is a typo. I mean PUFF... oopps I edit , you delete the wrning okei? -
True; althoguh I can say a couple of stories proving otherwise, as in some Munich sweet lovely german Ladies, or a delicious tower operator in Pantelleria, south of sicily. A lot of non-standard comms over that area,, things you can do in less-than-busy airports. Anyway we are talking of Women pilots. And obviously not of Nicky's case.

Fascintated by aviation since childhood, guess you all know the story and the feelings. I used to spent summers on italian beach nearby two military bases and in forest area. Therefore low pass of jetfighters and waterbombers were daily. Wanted to join AF, got refused for poor eyesight, (I only woree glasses since I was 9 after all.. sigh), so went to aerospace engineering; just before graduation I went for ppl, and I discovered the world of commercial; got a degree (with a flight-test thesis) and studied ATPL while working part time and full time. Hired on ATR (at 29)in the same company where I worked as quality control started flyng carrer. ATR on italy islands, then ATR on behalf of lufthansa troguh the whole continental europe. Now I fly Canadair Waterbombers for a company on contract with italian and turkish forest ministry. It is a strange feeling to fly the very same plane I probably spotpted as a child. Needless to say is much more fun than airline. Tomorrow I start training on the Md-80, on behalf of the same company's passenger fleet, as winter job opposed to the summer waterbombig activty. I have about 2000 hours, and 1500 of airline. I hope soon to continue acrobatic flying I started a few years ago. Defintely stick and rudder, probably Nicky would love the Piston version of the Canadair waterbombers. I quote everything about the instructor's situation. Plus the lucky one will enjoy Nicky's company which is indeed, a plus. Give it a try Nicky Nothing is sweeter like a Woman's voice over the radio.
