Christina Ricci is playing Trixie. I'll put up with everything else to see her and the Mach 5. I think the guy that voiced Speed has a part in the film too.

FYI, volumes 5&6 of GG manga are out. They introduce a new team, their story line might get a little creepy.

Not mention that you can lick yourself and no one would care.

Reminds me of Heavy Metal magazine, when it published in the '70s and early '80s. Looks good.

Just started on Gunslinger Girl and Full Metal Panic TSR. And I'm waiting for RahXephon to arrive. If you want a total mind "F", get Neon Genesis I spent all day the 4th watching it. It started out like a normal series and the story just started twisting and growing darker as it went. By the time it was over I didn't know if the main character had been dreaming or not. And I still have to get the end movies for this so I can be more damaged.

Dude, I am soooo confused with the NG movies. The first half of End was great, the second half was.......well........ummmm......well it did end. Seeing them makes me want to see the new live action movies even more, I can't have anymore harm done to my burned out mind, can I? While NG is good in it's own right, the art and voice work are great, it's the ending that has always been it's downfall. I can't recommend RahXephon enough to anyone who likes anime. Some try to call it an NG knock-off but the story is different, and while the characters seem to be copies, they are so far removed from NG it's not funny. I would have been satisfied to have an ending like in the TV series where Shinji and Asuka have grown up together and Rei is the new kid. If he had the chance to change everything he should have chose a brighter future. To quote Asuka at the end, "Pathetic" Fin

Talked to my son the Marine yesterday to see how he was enjoying being home and that I had his present almost ready to send. When I asked how come hw hadnt called in a while this is what he told me... He and a bud got into it with some local a couple of weeks ago, the loser left with his girl and while my kid and his friend were talking in a parking lot this Rat B*****d gets into his car and runs them down. The boy has a deep bruise between his knee and ankle and his friend has SIX hours of surgery to repair his legs. Can you imagine making a combat tour, coming home and one of your own countrymen decides to kill you because you made him look bad? Anyway, the A** in in jail and hopefully he'll be there for a long time, any luck he'll get to be someones girlfriend, and a Marine shacks up with his old lady. The boy also told me that he threw the crutches in the corner after a couple of days because he felt like a "MEOW" and that I always did things like that when he was little. Some things you don't want your kid to copy, being Macho is one of them, but I'm happy to see that I did have a bigger influence in his life than I thought. His wife is taking good care of him, she's feisty and takes no crap. BTW his present is FS9 so we'll be able to do something together.

Got both Neon Genesis movies along with Mezzo DSA. I was going to watch them this week but my vacation got canc'ed, I'll have to cram in everything this weekend. Need to know where to get GG at. I think that I'm getting FMP and FMP TSR this Xmas. QUOTE(Falcon161 @ Oct 16 2007, 06:26 PM) * Yu-Yu Hakasho is a good series quite funny in some episodes, plus the fighting is pretty good. I'll have to take a look at Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora I've heard about it, Im a Shoujo-AI fan so I guess im gonna watch it regardless, but I cried at the end of kannazuki no miko so Im probably gonna cry in this one too. Im also going to have to find some good big robot animes, any suggestions? Godannar is a good one, Giant Robots and girls with Giant ,well you know what I mean. Check ADV's website, they may be having another sale.

Final Score Army 3 Navy 38 http://sports-ak.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=273352426 Remember that this game is between players who play for the game, not because of a big Pro contract after graduation. After all is said and done the two services have a bigger common enemy, the Air Force.

We received word that my father was committed to the deep on 17OCT07 off the coast of Mexico. The USS CHANCELLORSVILLE's (CG 62) Officers and Crew conducted the burial ceremony. Here are some of the pictures. Thanks to all my friends here at Combat Ace for the kind words of support. Dad was in an urn made of a steel alloy weighing about 120 pounds so he could not be slid off the table. Instead he was placed on a stanchion and pushed over the side in a Monty Pythonesque way. I tend to think he was laughing his a** off at that point, he had that sort of sense of humor. I showed a civilian friend these pictures, he could not comprehend that most of the participants were volunteers and had never known my dad, all they knew was he was a Sailor and Chief Petty Officer. The Navy takes care of it's own and always will down to a Sailors last wish.

Thanks for the replies, WhiteKnight I'll keep you and your family in my prayers, may you fathers passing be a gentle one. My dad passed with the most of the family around him so he just went to sleep. I think the hardest part of this whole thing will be writing the letters of thanks to the Ships Company, almost like a postscript to a wonderful story. Nesher, my dad was better at telling his stories than I could ever hope to be, he loved telling my grandson and son-in-law about port calls in Asia and Japan, and he loved being able to show his photo albums to a whole new audience. This summer I hope to take the two of them to San Diego and show them what he was talking about.

Does the Navy really have this much time on its hands?

Today we started having major problems with our new forklift, again. This time it started backfiring and chugging like a car on a Bugs Bunny cartoon. After that it wouldn't start and was blocking our loading dock. I had to get the old lift running to tow the new one out of the way and resume deliveries to the main building. Anyway, I tripled up the tow rope, hook the lifts together and had our new drive ride as a safety on the in-op one. I took about five minutes to drag, yes drag that piece of Korean crap 100', my wheels were breaking traction on the light coat of sand that's accumulated around our warehouse,so it was slow down, stop, readjust the tow vehicle start over. After I got the lift that was TANGO UNIFORM where I wanted it I told the safety driver to set the brake. She called back to me.... " I forgot to release it when you started." Now I ask you, how was your day and how many beers did it take you to get over it? Mine was a couple of Arrogant Bast**ds, the BIG ones.

Most definitely, I've been waiting for RAZBAM's release for some time now. I may post some pics from a low-level on the Fallon Range.

17. Helicopters can't fly; they're just so ugly the earth repels them. Not true, Helo's are sexy machines that hate to touch the Earth. All Rotorheads know that flying with the doors open on a low level is the most fun you can have with your clothes on.
