    @ Paulo, i know you are the skinner, i have also offered help to V2K to show how to map objects, just a simple tutorial. He is getting better and better in 3D but when there is still improvement possible, so why not .. I have send out my planes for the 3rd time to betatester and they have found some stuff.. so back into the workshop... I dont see here a problem

    Forget it, the plane has bad mapping, a cylindrical shape mapped side by side .... the top and bottom side is stretched as hell on both planes. The 3D work and Shadow bug on the front canopy struts is as bad as a car after it hit a pole. (I told it V2K in the past to remodel it and remap it, he did nothing about it) @ Veltro, try to map a simple cylinder with a 4 side mapping, you can select every single polygone you want to have mapped for each part of the template. About the struts, why not delete this part, rebuild it and remap it .. just the strut, are you happy with the result?

    Is the top bottom mapping done on the fuselage and round objects additionaly to the side by side mapping on those meteors?

  11. My Kung Fu Master told me, if you do something ... do it right .... otherwise dont waste time! I use the building process and interaction with my "group" of nice and supporting people as a learning process to reach the point where its usable. If there is a shadow issues ... a missbuild part .. rebuild it, I dont want to hide anything or release a plane with objects that look they had an accident. If there is something wrong we have overseen it ... it will be updated... "Doing it the right way"
  12. @ Mue, is it possible for you to create a max exporter tool? Why i am asking, we run into a strange problem, the older exporter creates no shadow problems, all parts render a correct shadow, but no Specular Maps, but Bumpmapping... than the new exporter works great on the maps, SM and BM is exported, but some parts does not cast shadows... What a TK mess... Is it to much to ask for?

    Yep, three are missing ... ok will tell Enoc .... but i found some other problems I need to work on those damn shadow issues
  16. We have started from Su-17.... upwards First birds look ready I have worked with Mats on the 25, he did an outstanding job on this bird, so i would like to continue his work.
