  3. Btw: is there a way that AI use the Rescue Helicopter to take off and such things? Even one with rotating rotor randomly would fit my needs.

  6. Hi, this is an updated version of the awacs voice made by SkateZilla While i like his version more than the original one i tweaked the files to somewhat more less digital with more distortion.   8. After a while i got it working. Just needed to find out to rename the xxx placeholder in the soundlist.ini to proper numbers ,lol.

  12. In the cold war era up to the early 90s the Luftwaffe used orange painted rudder or other painted parts on the aircrafts. What was the reason to do this? And i know they changed to all camouflage paintings in the 90s since the Balkan crisis or before i'm not sure. So if the cold war gone hot in the 60-80s would they have overpaint the orange parts with camo colors or not? If so it would be cool to have those plane skins in the game too!
  13. Just noticed after the merged install of NA into Europe that the female voice of the TCC was replaced by the male AWACS voice. Is there a way to keep both voices so i have the male one in NA and the female in Europe? Rends
  14. Guess i got it sorted. I created a SpeechUSN folder within the Speech Directory and copy the modded files there. So i have the female over Germany and the modded AWACS over North Atlantic (still depends what aircraft you are flying . see above) Rends BTW: starting always the SF2 Europe exe
  15. I´m a step further. The voices depends on your Aircraft you are using. With a (NA) F-14 over Germany i get the male AWACs voice but a (SF2E) PhantomII over Iceland get the female voice But what about modded voices? I used the a modified Version of SkateZilles AWACS voices and put the wav files into the Speech Folder located at: C:\Users\MyName\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Europe\Speech but then i get the male voice everywhere. How to prevent this? In the maingame Speech Folder there are four entries in the speech Folder located at C:\Spiele\ThirdWire\Strike Fighters 2\Speech called Speech SpeechText SpeechTextUSN SpeechUSN
  16. Hm, it seems that i can attach file with 1MB file size max. But the mod is about 13+ MB.
  17. A little feedback would be nice. btw: there are only 35 dl left. The max number is limited to 50 dl.

  19. Just installed Gerwins Terrain using the mod enabler so i can easily switch between both. Now that's a hard decission. The TW one realy shines on the water and Gerwins on Iceland. Guess i keep both and make the decission mission based which one i use. About FR: On the carrier deck i don't see much difference. Once in air or over Iceland i get around 30 percent more using Gerwins version. Sad that the game doesn't make more use of the multicore.. If could run way better using all cores instead of one.

  21. One more question: how do you land at night? Shouldn't the carrier lit like a christmas tree? I hav't tried landing at night yet but at takeoff i didn't notice any lights on deck
  22. Snailman, thx for the Yak! Seems to work fine :-) Will try out the other Iceland terrain later but must admit that i love the water. At the moment i reduced object detail to medium and it helps somewhat. Rends

    Hi Brennus, You posted over at SimHq that you are working at an updated version of this mod. Here are some things i noticed installing this version you might find intereting for the update. My resolution is set to 1400x900 and top right menu collide with the "Mainscreen" text. The last Letter override the M of the word Mainscreen. Looking at the digital Font it also seems that it doesn't fit correctly. The first letter of a textbox entry is cutted a bit on the left side and doesn't show completely. In the Mission editor the numbers appear in black and are hard to read. Happened only in the ME other screens are fine. Rends
