i look forward to it... i like to fly with next gen planes against next gen planes. nato vs china with support of north korea and russia as a kind of rebel supporting both sides... like now in syria, on one side they are working toghter but on the other side they are throwing mud against each other..so yeah i need the next gen planes mainly for the china side of the conflict thx -

Sorry dear modder Wrench.. i am honest i didn't read the readme this time.. most of the time i do.. aha so you like to cook and go to the toilet during a flight ... nice plane besides that it have a toilet and a cooking place..only thing i think its weird about the su 34.. it haves not a very far radius so why it have a toilet and cooking place.. Range: 1,100 km... -

Hi there,, does anybody here got experience with Vjoy and SF2.. i got a joystick without any rudder control. but i also got a the red momo from logitech.. so i was thinking if i can use both in strike fighters 2 with programs like Vjoy. i have tryed it but i got stuck on 1 thing.. the rudder work for 50 % ... with my pedals from momo. i can only select gas or brake... and have to hold 1 of the pedals half way down to fly straight. but can not use both .. odd because in logitech i tryed it with combined pedals on and tryed it with combined pedals off. but no succes.. only can use 1.. this one is from using the gas pedal PITCH_CONTROL=JOYSTICK01_Y-AXIS YAW_CONTROL=JOYSTICK02_Y-AXIS ROLL_CONTROL=JOYSTICK01_X-AXIS THROTTLE_CONTROL=JOYSTICK03_U-AXIS this one is from using the brake pedal PITCH_CONTROL=JOYSTICK01_Y-AXIS YAW_CONTROL=JOYSTICK02_Z-ROTATION ROLL_CONTROL=JOYSTICK01_X-AXIS THROTTLE_CONTROL=JOYSTICK03_U-AXIS but odd in vjoy and other programs brake and gas pedals works as combined one.. like fsx. -

hi there, i want to know like in fs2004/fsx there was no shooting build ingame but with some adaptions it turns allmost in a fighter sim.. is this kind of adaptions possible in SF2 all the way up to SF2NA. or is it all locked by third wire and basically this is what you get? -

Hello Flying Virtual Aces, I am making a New Campaign A What If American Vietnam War 2 starting from 03/02/1983. NVietnam supported by China and Soviet Union/Russia. and America/Supported by RAF like in the first gulf war for runway bombing .. and in later version more NATO Country's support like in Kosovo War and War in Afghanistan. The Campaign short intro Info. After the first American Vietnam war. China and Soviet/Russia starting to build in 1980 Military bases and airbases in north Vietnam to combine attack towards the Philippines to surround American Allied Japan. in 1982 towards 1983 American ground forces started a ground war in south vietnam to claim/build military bases and airbases. in 1983 China And soviet/Russia started there attack against Philippines. the campaign It self starts on 03/02/1983 and ends if you win the war in 2020 the war chances during the years F-15's towards F-22's from F-14's/F-18's towards F35's etc and the enemy site from 3th generation towards 4+ generation fighters/bombers. Now i have some few questions 1. can i make ground war... like soldiers capturing airbases etc. 2. can i give North vietnam other goals than i give China.. like NV attacking city's and China only airbases. 3. [Force001] Alignment=FRIENDLY Nation=USAF BaseArea=Saigon [Force002] Alignment=ENEMY Nation=NVietnam BaseArea=Hanoi can i add Force003 and 004 etc.? 4. are there editor triggers like if you don't win this ... or this gets destroyed.. you win or lose a region or airbase many thx -

I got it finally the Campaign working. but somethings i don't understand. there are AN-12 flying but i don't have selected them... and 1 other thing... my date starts 09/10/2001 and end date is 12/31/2001 100 missions. NormalMissionRate=1 NormalMissionRateDeviation=0 OffensiveMissionRate=0.3 OffensiveMissionRateDeviation=0.2 but campaign ends after 2 days.. and i got a bear tu-95 flying at 09/11/2001 and end at 09/12/2001 flying with a nuke. but plane is not there but its selecteble in single mission editor. look at picture.. missing bombbay door ;Tu-95 Bear ; Version 0.95/1 Thx Jug, Gepard and Capun :) ;AI only -

retirement date in it. also changed the Map end date to 2025. in VietnamSEA.ini [AllowedDates] StartDate=8/2/1964 EndDate=4/30/2025 and put it too in the strike fighters2 ONS\Terrain folder\VietnamSEA\........ with all of the other .INI's <using greenhell 3.5 and greenhell 3.5 tree update> i also updated the Options.ini [MotionExporter] ExporterDLL= [Mods] ModsEnabled=TRUE Directory=C:\Users\Gebruiker\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 ONS Editors=StrikeFighters2 [screenShots] Directory=C:\Users\Gebruiker\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 ONS\ScreenShots Format=JPG i did make in the install folder a exe from SF2NA and renamed it to StrikeFighters2 ONS.exe and also made a copy of the StrikeFighters2 NorthAtlantic.ini and renamed it to StrikeFighters2 ONS.ini but can't find any entry inside those StrikeFighters2 NorthAtlantic.ini thats necessary to change but i dont no for sure i am new to this kind of editting not that I'm completely inexperienced with editting/modding. arma 2 battlefield 1942/desert combat FS2004 FSX/Acceleration GTR2 <race simulation from simbim ms combat flight sim 3 so this is very very frustrating for me... why it not appears inside the game at all. i also tryed unicode or ANSI but no effect. i read lots of topics about installing new things to SF2 series.. i basically followed every instructions. and still no succes? what is the thing i am doing wrong please can any body help me. -

yeah sometimes 1 small thing... and it could be hastily overlooked i was starting to think to stop editting by the time every time it was unfindable in game.. mad as hell and less sleep to try it to get it to work.. and something as simple as a mapfolder... grrr!! life is great but can sometimes be a bitch hahahahah -

well i found out or i fixed it i forgot to make a folder inside Campaign folder... \strike fighters 2 ONS\Campaigns\CampaignV2001\*.INI now it works..again. many thx for the posts -

okay well its is from the original campaign linebacker II those entry's of those groundunits.. in Linebacker II campaign there is no Nvietnam units also... but i give it a try thx and i let you know if it works for me or not -

thx yess thats what i am lookin for i got nice or well nice but great quality Nam war pictures for different things like lose or win war even got a nice campaign intro movie made.. but i am not sure if Strike fighters 2 can handle movies or what format it use. if it use .bik its no problem i only have to convert it and if it can handle what is a proper resolution for the different screens everybody uses -

thx for the heads up.. but i don't mind it takes more time my way.. i am used to editors in Arma2 much more typing of commands/triggers. its still les time consuming for me than i make 1 mission for Arma 2. my campaign starts where linebacker II ends.. first you fly the linebacker II style planes and missions and slowly it transforms to new style vietnam.. the original linebacker II planes are slowly replaced by 4th generation by date when the different planes are introduced like f-14 Introduction 22 September 1974. in my campaign this plane will replacing the f-4's and they will be available between 22-30 september 1975/1976 untill the tomcats where replaced in 2006. but there will be 1 sqaudron available near the end of the American Vietnam war and so on . thats all working now. Nvietnam will get in the end/like they do right now.. have Mig-29 available but have at the moment no proper skin so they fly with the white/grey Soviet skin. -

MigBuster .. can i ask you this is in short terms i wanna do : like on the screenie above. i wanna put US Stations where the green dots are.. 1.and later during the campaign i want that a russian aircraft carrier with yak 38's are going to patrol the yellow dot area.. what have i to do more besides editting VietnamSEA_water.bmp i am not sure any more about that.. 2. i now going to start my campaign 31 of april 1975 the day after US retreat how can i convert the blue side airbases to red with out changing the whole map, so later in the campaign they reclaiming some of the airbases and getting it operational. <like if they reclaim a airbase you can use it to fly from if thats possible? -

thx Mig buster... okay so i am right about my own error.. well linebacker II is as far as i know the last vietnam campaign... and i thought that's the easy way for my to build-on on the last campaign. but its not... so i abandon it and i chanced my concept a bit starting all fresh again.. this time i use SF2NA campaign as template.. with the SF2NA commands. also this time i chanced the vietnamSEA_water.bmp.. but i don't understand how it works i made 2 green dots and 1 goldish yellow.. do i have to find those coordinates of those dots to make a station like yankee station? -

i think i did something stupid... i made my campaign from the stock linebacker II campaign and used it inside strikefighters2 North atlantic... if i read the linebacker II original and the original campaign from SF2NA there are other lines used... likewise SF2NA [NavalUnit002] sf2V [CarrierUnit002] can this be a part of the problem?
