You're absolutely right. The proof is that I have succeed renegotiating the book's price and it has lost like 13 euros/18 USD dollars - so did my earning per book, going down from 3.18 euros to 2 euros.

Hi guys, just to let you know that the sequel to my first published book "Mercenary of the Seas" has just passed its 100th page. A small "milestone" for a story that's just seeing its begining. The new book will be titled "The Emperor of Madeira" and it'll be mostly a Sea Harrier adventure. Lots of the characters from the first book will be there. I have no idea when it'll be completed and still less when published. Mercenary of the Seas is now on its 4th edition, even if sales are "discrete". Thanks to Combatace for supporting "fledgling authors" like myself and to all of the people who purchased my book, thus supporting me. A big salute to you all!

If the book sells real well (several thousand copies....), then there will be other versions - including in Italian. As for the moemnt I have only sold almost 100 copies, there are no plans to make any translations in the immediate future. I guess that you live in Italy, right? I don't think that there is an Italian Amazon website, so your best move would be to buy it from the French Amazon website, as shipping should be cheaper. Hello Dagger! Are you "Dagger_369th" with whom I've flown like ten years ago or so on the 369th with FA?!? Thanks for your support! It really means a lot to me! Yes, more advertising is a must and the "published on demand" system makes the book's price a bit steep - even for a 664-page book. Yet most of the "usual" publishers don't have the time or just don't bother reading a newbie author's work. I retain all rights for mercenary of the seas and if you know a better publisher, pleas elet me know. I'd like to cut the book's price down to $ 25 or $ 26 but that is impossible with the current publisher for such a big book. I'm more a fun of modern aircraft and avionics, so i'd suggest you to go for WOE. I have all of them and with time, perhaps you should buy the entire thirdwire collection. Just my "two cents".

After two weeks with no advertising, there are 70 copies sold on the publisher's website. The book has been updated and it's now 662 pages big, instead of the original 411 pages. Apparently the download version (which seels for slightly ove rthan 5 euros...) can only be obtained if this link : http://www.lulu.com/content/paperback-book...he-seas/6730388 is opened with Internet Explorer only. I use "opera" and the "buy download version of the book" option is not available. Other, the book will reach the bookshelves around the world in 6 to 8 weeks from now. Yes I do agree! Now that I am thinking, the Mirage 2000 doesn't have the doppler radar small dome, underneath the cockpit. Perhaps we should adapt the Skin to a Mirage IIIC or Mirage IIIEA, wichever is easier, as well as with those other mods that you've told me about!

I've installed it and said to myself : "hmmm.. this stuff is awesome!!!". Then I started to wonder that it would be cool to replay the stock campaign with these awesome terrain tiles, so I did it!!! Then I wondered that lots of "friendly" arab states also had french made aircraft. I was particularly thinking of the Ouragan, Mystère and Mirage series, that made history in Israel and elsewhere. I told myself that it would be awesome to have these planes in here as well. I started by adding Pasko and C5s MD450 Ouragan, Ajunadair's Mystère and the Mirage factory's Mirage IIIC (thank you guys for such awesome models and skins). I've also noted that the stock campaigns are limited to a maximum of 30 missions. I have changed this to 1000. So now you can delight in an endless war!!! :D Offcourse, US, french, British and Soviet aircraft had to upgrade as time passed. The logical successor for the Mirage IIIC is BPAO's Mirage F-1EQ, that I took from the Iran - Iraq campaign. The stock US aircraft will be upgraded to the following models : - Different versions of the A-4; - Armourdave's A-7Bs and Es; - Skoshi Team's F-5A; - Mirage Factory's F-14A MP pack; - The F-15A by Paco, Hackworth, Bunyap, USAFMTL and column5; - Team Viper's F-16A block10; The Royal Dhimari attack/bomber squadrons will eventually receive the latest Jaguar from the Mirage factory. As for soviet made aircraft, you will find OKB Mig's MiG-23, and the MiG-25 by Tomcat74, wpnssgt, Sundowner & column5. I have added wpnssgt's latest weapon pack and Pakso's latest SAM pack. You will have the ride of your life. You will have two campaigns : a Burning Sands II and Burning Sands 70s. In the first, you will fly the early 50 jets. In the second, you will start in the late sixties and make your way to the 80s. It's really lots of fun. Finnaly, I have made a few MP tests and so far, no CTDs or other bad surprises. Yeah! A-7F rules!!! Regarding modern planes, it's awesome to be able to fly a Raptor, an Eurofighter, a Rafale, and why not a B2?... specially if all this is coming free, as USAFMTL masterly pointed! =S=

Hello all, I think a greater step towards uniformisation has been given today. The C6 team has released a MP pack intitled "SFP1 Super Pack 1", with several mods. I fully agree!! I love SFP1 simply because it's easy to fly! I flew "Fighters Anthology" (a.k.a. "The Mother of all flight sims") and altough it's still supported by HL, it's graphics and performance are really obsolete. I can't fly lomac or F4, as I don't want to "drink coffee" while I wait for the game to load, or spend hours of my precious little time finding out what keyboard shortcuts will do what... I'd like to see an "open era sim" (just like FA), covering every plane from the early 50 jets to todays B2s... My 2 cents...
