problem with AH-1Q & Jetengine.wav

Hi everyone, I'm having a bit of a problem with yakarov79's AH-1Q & liamp51's JetEngine Replacement .wav file. The AH-1Q sound file sounds normal when played on Windows media player, and sounds normal in game when I'm playing with JetEngine.wav removed from sounds. But when I play with JetEngine.wav in sounds the AH-1Q sounds like a lawnmower. Any Ideas? Thanks -

hi guys, I was just wandering is the NPP course system's compass meant to rotate when the aircraft turns, or is its functionality unmodeled at the moment? I tried swapping some ini text from the yak-38 cockpit stary made - which has a working compass - but it didn't work. Thanks -

HI guys, sorry to be a pain. I was wandering if anyone could send me the Stock JetEngine.WAV file, I downloaded a replacement file on this site a while ago and since then its caused all sorts of peculiarity's in the games sound, (lawnmower helicopters, slowed down radio-chatter etc...) I've learnt my lesson. I think long and hard before deleting game files now... Thanks in advance Alex

I weathered the F-111 cockpit... -
I found the demo quite limiting so I went ahead and bought it on steam its only £5.99, with full game there is a single player & lots of game modes available like big world, custom (where you can tweak loads of gameplay options) etc... the mods I use are; All cities, Cold war 1980's v1.7, & WOPR which is the mod that makes the graphics look like the monitors from Wargames. It can be quite hard to find working links to mods because the community pretty dead which is a shame. But yeah I would recommend it.

I've been playing Defcon everybody dies, with a few mods to make it look like the "big board" from the film wargames. (Sorry for the bad screenshot, had to use my phone)

Hi everyone, I'm having an issue with the SFP1 Yak-28P. I managed to convert it to SF2 standard (thanks to the knowledge base) & it works, but the problem I'm having is that my wingmen won't engage targets with their SARH AA-3/R-98 missiles, they only launch IR Anabs. I did an experiment to see if it was perhaps the missile that was at fault, so I tried out a simple intercept with the Flagon and there was no problem, wingmen called out "fox one" etc. I had a look in the ini's but to be honest I don't really know what I would be looking for. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

So I changed the loadout ini to just SAHM Anabs, but the wingmen still won't launch them. here's the detect system... Somewhere over a distant plain... Thanks Stary for the amazing pit! Does anybody know if there are any higher res skins for the Firebar in the works? Seems like a shame not to have any with such an amazing pit. -

Glad i'm not the only one having this problem. do you have any idea what might be causing it? I spent an evening going through ini files but found nothing. I did find a forum post a few days ago, started by a user having similar problems, he discovered he had a corrupted jetengine.wav and replaced it and that fixed it for him. -
