  1. Yes....That's all I'm saying. They'll show that way in Game. Nice and Clean. Just not in Mue's Tool. Try it both ways in Game and Mue's tool, and You'll see what I mean..... That's the all it is Wrench my Friend.

  3. ​Basically, Yes! Mobile "GroundObjects" are still handled via the GroundObjects Folder with the Entry in the Terrain_Types.ini as so........ [TargetTypeXXX] Name=M48A2_S FullName=M48A2 Parked TargetType=MISC ActiveYear=0 TargetValue=250 UseGroundObject=TRUE <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< GroundObjectType=M48A2_S RepairRate=0.555 StartDetectChance=0 StartIdentifiedChance=0 IncreaseDetectChanceKey=0 MaxVisibleDist=4000.0 DestroyedEffect=SmallExplosionEffect SecondaryEffect=VehicleFireEffect DestroyedModel=TANK_DESTROYED.LOD SecondaryChance=100 A "Static" Ground Object pertains to the Terrain itself. So, Yes, They reside in the "Terrain" Folder. But check this out..... Let's take a look at how the Game sees it'..... C;ProgramFiles(x86)/ThirdWire/StrikeFighters2/Terrains/VietnamSEA.Cat Agreed that's "Default" As if You played the Game and You never Modded a thing...... C:/MOD Folder/Terrains/VietnamSEA ( Folder ) ---- Game reads this as "Other Than Default" "Modded" or "Addition to Default" "Added MOD" Now check this out C:/MOD Folder/Terrains/VietnamSEA/USTruck(Folder) -----Game reads this as "Other than Default" "Modded ​OR C:/MOD Folder/Terrains/VietnamSEA/AirStartUnit_01(Folder) ------ Game reads this as "Addition to Default" "Added MOD" So, The Game Engine say's, Hey! I've got a Modded Targets.INI and a Modded Types.INI in a Modded Terrrains Folder. It'll look fist for Folders that are "Additions to Default" FOLDERS first then "Additions to Default" FILES in the VietnamSEA FOLDER Next. Then "Other than Default" Folders then........"Other than Default" FILES in the VietnamSEA FOLDER. It's SF2's way of handling Terrains and Terrain Objects. I've just not opened My Mouth till now........ ​

  7. More "Shots" from the same Terrain File above..... All Objects You see in these "Shots" are done in that Manner.... As, You see........It's been Tested.... Wrench Buddy, You know I've been doing this awhile...... I wouldn't steer You wrong.
  8. Wrench, That may be in Fact, How it's always been done. And in fact, That's how Mue's Tool Placement may see the File Structure to see Ground Objects. Maybe that's because how Mue was told that's how the File Structure should be.........But Bear with Me Here....Think about what I'm advocating here and showing You here......... Here's My Basic "Range Terrain for SF2" Folder.... Now see this Example of what I'm Suggesting here....... Been getting it to work for awhile this way...... Been tested. Take a look...... From the same Terrain File as above.......Pretty "Clean", Huh? Think about flexibility and Varying Objects. (Semper Gumby! Always Flexible) Now if We could get Mue to get his Program to read the Terrain as I'm advocating here.......Well. But Your correct Wrench, In order to have them show the way Yall' (The Community )needs them is the way You just stated (Done the "Ole' School Way")......Yall' tell Me if I'm off base here.   12. This is what I use as "Stand-In's" For BRU-42/A ITERS for the AV-8B's. They are "Stand-In's" as the are Slightly different than regular TER's. Until proper ones become available, I'll post these Here. They are a Remake of RavenClaw007's TER's from his latest Weapons Pack. Ravenclaw's attention to Detail is something to behold.... INSTALL: Place Airfield Objects "Folders" in the Terrain You want to use them in. Keep all Contents in the Folders. Then add from the "TargetTypes-ADD" .TXT to the Terrain "Types.INI" and replace the [TargetTypeXXX] with the next numbers in line and "Save". that's it. USE: Mue's .LOD Tool to view the Objects.
