  4. Sorry Guys...Nyghtfall nailed it...he likes flying recon-missions with the OH-6 (Loach/Little Bird) helicopters and asks if there's a dedicated campaign for it. :)... I put Yakarov79s, OH-6A Loaches in NAM 1.25 in my Nam mod folder. Ive flown a few heli sims in my time---and this ship stands up to anything in its time---impressive. I understand theres fuel restrictions/ distance, and mission types problems...but if these helis can be plug and play in single mission---which is amazing, im sure a campaign is possible... And yes I do understand how difficult mission building is---I have trouble enough plugging a ship into a campaign...

  6. Wings over Korea...(mod) clean and simple---all the downloads are here---its my go-to when I need to chill and get centered...theres a few steps but if I can get this mod running---anyone can... Thanks to everyone involved....

Well for me im glad I dropped my J-FA18/F40 or nothing mindset...and no SF2 is not a game...fallout is a game...and for pilots who don't have a weapons grade machine and an entire weekend to spare on pre-flight cockpit prep, 2 fits the bill---not too easy, not to diff, just right...my rig is recent entry level everything and looks great---and im gratefull as heck...

  12. Geary...when you say "Rev-up" do you mean you can hear your drive go ballistic sound-wise...cause mines been doing that lately when I switching pit to cam ect and im wondering whats up...it did not used to do that with any sim or game...

This is a public "Thanks Man" to KJakker for not only just helping a noob, but going out of his way to helping me fill in the blanks in my Nam install...AND turning me on to his F-5E Camp-Mod---which might not be public (sorry KJ)...anyway my Nam install is the "Poop" now to the point that I thought I would be missing something unless I backed down and started from the beginning... So... im Starting back at Rolling Thunder in the A-4B-65 (KJ)...with the Lizards, and were taken names and such... Thanks KJ

I had a feeling that was the case...so the Thanks Man fits even better now...the special touches like the MF ships in the linebackers and all the other insertions are what makes it one of a kind. And im sure theres tons of other stuff I havnt even discovered yet due to the fact that ive never played through all the originals...so its hats off to all the talent that makes this sim even better...Special Thanks again KJakker, and like I said before...your a good sport...

  16. Well if theres time to figure or guess from which direction your getting the alert from... get low and turn perpendicular to it and then go full throttle chaff flair every 10 seconds or so, other than that go dark---off radar...off throttle to reduce your heat signature...

Depending on what difficulty level your playing you most likely have an enemy icon near...steer clear---waypoints are for general usage and can be altered to avoid dangerous areas...if your in a ship that's radar equipped you might get a visual and or a warning sound...don't worry about anything until you've hit the deck ...get low fast, and stay there with your wing ,,, then you can figure out the details----chaff is your friend on the way down to angels treetop...

I went through this whole thing just weeks ago... the mod folder is made for you when your run the sim one time--- my so-called mod folder is born in my system (Windows8.1) at Desktop/My-name/Saved-games/Third Wire/SF2 Vietnam...so depending on your OS, your mod folder is going to be born somewhere---What windows operating system are you using?

I wanted my nam install to be simple but good so all I have in it is...:SF2....VN...the online-update...and the 4 part pack --- http://combatace.com/topic/52002-sf2v-air-ground-war-expansion-pack-v20-sep-2014-update/... im even running the stock F-5A Free-fight ship...and no clutter, simple is good... My NA install is separate...SF2...NA...online-update and the" Mirage Factory F-14A and F-14B Tomcat"---not the greatest, latest but great framerates...simple is good...

  22. Stary...I bonked on 1 of the steps---but it now works great and is much to awesome for words...as a KW noob can you suggest which 84 to start with, and in which campaign? I like nape as well as a to a... (might not mess with the pits till I get my feet wet)

Wow Stary... this mod really has my attention because of the fact that I never really went to the trouble to get the jets stuff up and running in IL2---which im kinda over...I pretty sure I have what I need to put together an install, and I read the readme---but how hard was it really to get up and running? (im alittle dense) lol
