  1. Been wracking my brain and triple checking the folders the nuke files are loaded in but can't seem to get the proper effect in WOV. I'm sure there is some little configuration that a missed. I get them to load, drop, and even had a Mk61 explode, but with a standard explosion. No nuke noise either. Any ideas? I am using the [766]NukeBeta file. Mike
  2. Only on F-4s? Hmmm, okay, I will double check.
  3. Now are these weapons that one has to use the weapons editor to get into the game? I couldn't find these listed in the "objects\weapons" folder. Z
  4. Hello, Just wondering if there are IP's available for WOV online games. I've been checking Hyperlobby just about every day and can't find a game. Any online WOV enthusiasts out there? Z
  5. Ah okay, I thought it opened individual weapons file...doh... Z
  6. Hmmm, okay, how come I can't bring anything up within the weapons editor? It starts up find, but when I try and open something nothing shows up. Z
  7. Cool. Are they're Nuke Genie missiles available? Or is it a version of the Phoenix? Z
  8. Actually, there was a weapons.ini file in there, but it WASN'T the updated one. Not sure how that happened, but I started thinking and unzipped that file from the updated weapons pack again. Sure enough, the file that was in there was older than the new one. Got the lovely sights and sounds of thermonuclear warfare now, sigh.... My next question would be damage affects. Are the nukes just eye candy, or do they come with all the destructive womp of a real nuke. I flew a mission against a railway bridge last night and dropped the nuke (B61) pretty close to it but it never game me a "mission accomplished" message. Z
  9. Cool beans, glad I looked here. I was wondring about this meself! Z
  10. Hello All, I am new to the forum and to WOV. Was wondering if someone could point me to a decent tutorial of how to add SFP aircraft to WOV. I done several myself already, but on several I cannot get some of the ordnance to work, and on others and can't get them to show up at all. Any help would be appreciated. Also, where do WOV onliners congregate to dogfight online? I've check HL several times and there is never anyone in there. Z
  11. Will do, guy. Been popping in and out just about every day. Flew on your server both yesterday and today and had a lot of fun. Personally, I think online multiplayer is the only way to go as far as being offerred a challenge. Offline just gets too damn boring. Online, you never know what is going to happen. Z
  12. Yessir, everything in the nuke file. I got three or four nuke types that can be dropped and all that, but there is no boom or sound. Z
  13. I think I already have the latest weapons files installed...
  14. Heheh, I mean which files go in the effects folder and which into the terrian. There are a butt-load of files with different extensions. Thanks. Mike
  15. What folders do the different effects files go into in WOV?
  16. Do the other "effects" and "terrain" mods for SFP work with WOV? Z
  17. Cool beans, I will check that site out. Thanks again.
  18. That's very good to hear! Three years huh? Do you know where the online multiplayers congregate? It sure as heck isn't Hyperlobby. Another question. I noticed the in-game multiplayer screen appears to only allow LAN game look ups. How does one change this setting to internet? Z
  19. You mean one has the capability of creating cheat weapons? Ugh, I thought I'd seen the last of that with CFS, what a drag. Z
  20. Thanks for that! Good info. My question now is what would require one to have to use the editor? I mean the weapons pack list appears fine and all. Z
  21. Sidewinder, so far I haven't had to do a darn thing with the weapons editor and such. I mean, I pick a plane and the ordnance is available, what more can one ask for? LOL. My only worry is that there doesn't seem to be a big WOV following for online multiplayer. I want an online game as the offline are just too boring. Z
  22. Heh, okay, I extracted the weapons pack. I take it the "weapons" folder goes in the WOV\Objects directory? Now is there something I need to do with that weapons editor?
  23. Thanks guys, I appreciate the help! Z
