funny thing about this article...referenced program was already canceled...put it in the stack with the re-engining program they have been discussing for 23 years (or more) -
happy b'day...for the sake of the environment, please refrain from parading about in your birthday suit

Hmmm...did not see an hot Asian-looking women that were aggressor controllers when I was TDY there about that time...did see an overweight blond in her mid thirties who had a very 1-900 voice...probably missed the one wpnssgt knew though, typical. -
- Yeah, Dave made me take back everything that was either mean or stupid that I had posted...that is what I get for telling people about his stockings...

I absolutely detest that song...Hades itself is replete with its incantations...I would rather learn that Ellen Degeneres and Melissa Etheridge were my real parents than hear that damnable tune even once more...in fact, given the option of hanging about a Mexican Slaughter house all day or listening to that song for 3 seconds (given that nails on chalkboard was not an option) will without hesitation take a.) on that one.

Ouch...sounds like the tide had ebbed for that joint...Club USA...other side of the street? Remember there was a joint further up the road from Outback, over the hill...dont go there... What about the G-spot? Bit touristy back then...

Happy Birthday!

You know me too well...see if they still have my name on the wall at "G-Spot" or the "Viking" or the "Tourist"...have to admit though I had been a bit surprised at all of the Caucasian er, "entertainers" back then...Czech, Australian, and a few Britanias...did meet one rather attractive Guamanian, she worked at the Subway sandwich shop near the Royal Orchid...incredible voice. Oh, about the Viking, try not to get strapped to the "wheel"...

Am a tad bit annoyed at all of the attention the recent losses of F-15 and T-38 have received and humbly invite every one with an opinion on the matter to look at peace time loss rates of every other MDS (that means airplane) in the USAF inventory in the past 40 years. Then, once well informed on the matter, let us discuss the numbers from an educated angle. The results may surprise some. Cheers

Ooo...now that is a good one!

F-15 Crashes in Southern Indiana (May 2007)
sparkomatic replied to Fates's topic in Military and General Aviation
Aging fleet, Moseley cut huge numbers of maintainers, spare parts no longer produced...and the beauty was only designed to last 10 years by the way...dont forget it was designed and built back when we still had more than one type of Fighter on active service (we even had dedicated interceptors back then)...no one with a slide rule forecast the dreadful state the USAF would now today find itself in I think. Was very glad that Gates said "halt the personnel cuts" now... -

- "he was a f***in' arrogant prick and could not stand to even be in the same room with him" - it is not easy being a living legend I suppose. funny thing about us is that we expect people that have accomplished things the rest of us have read about to be cool...kind of like the movies, heroes are always the best people...reality is of course divergent from that course...have known plenty of people that when the impossible needs done, you want him there, then you wish you could stick them beside the fire extinguisher and forget them until the next fire. Am not excusing him or his actions, but really, just because people know his name does NOT equal cool dude. then again I knew DeBellevue and he was very cool, despite the American Fighter Pilot Association refusing to recognize him (not that it matters, how many even heard of the AFPA? Exactly) And he had more confirmed kills than anybody. And, on a similar point, look at Bill Gates, he is the definition of the American Dream...came from insignificance, built an Empire and became the richest dude in the world and literally a household name...and how many people hate that guy? Welcome to the paradox of Americana...we treasure the idea of the underdog that beats all odds to emerge the very best, then spend the rest of the time hurling arrows instead of flowers at the very same dog By the way, in case you didnt know, Chuck Yeager was/is a total arrogant SOB as well...just ask. cheers
