F15 vs F14 problem!
sparkomatic replied to Blasto's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Well...here is an F-15E against 2 F-14D...so I guess since both of the F-14D are exploding, and within 40 seconds of each other...I am not understanding what you are saying? -

And here we have an F-14D getting gunned down by an F-15E...so what was your point? Not the airplanes fault as I did not have an F-15E before I read your post...just downloaded it from CombatAce...installed...and created a Tomcat Fireball... -

It is called a "Mud Hen" for a reason...here is an F-14a+ getting killed by a quick 20mm burst -
glad that you warned me...but that then is not Rainbow 6...man I spent way too much time planning to get the stupid AI (remember pre-Eagle Claw?) to not get stuck on the stairs...but did they gut it to make it work on consoles? dont imagine the bulk of the console crowd to be mission planners

Hey, me too! That dual boot was the set up! Best of both worlds since Win95 sucked but you had to have it for games...man, Marine Fighters, forgot about that one

* Come on, man...we need to keep the production line open...* Ha ha, Jedi Master is just a little tired...he meant of COURSE you need C-17's and lots of them, they can land on sand you know, heck they can even back up! And if you act now we will throw in some Vipers too! -

Man, that is one area the USAF has definitely lagged so far behind...the Navy has sponsored Top Gun and a half dozen submarine flicks, even that abomination Pearl Harbor...and the USAF hopes people are watching 12 O'Clock High -
France reiterates offer of 40 Rafale fighters to India

again as we discussed earlier, the global market for fighters is in decline, so sad...remember when like every tin-pot dictator had MiGs...man those were the days -
Anybody speak Japanese?

ah yes, the Okinawa updated map -
Going to have to go with Olmos, then Grace Park... Though I have to admit...Baldar actually makes me hate him...he plays the antagonist so perfectly well...I mean he is not evil, just the summation of all bad human emotions

Quantum Leap! Thats where...I rarely watched that show but I knew I had seen him before...he was so cool...I liked when he was vehemently denying being a cylon, then they bring the other "him" in and he was like "Oh..." and the brilliant line: "maybe because I am a cylon and never saw you at any of the meetings"...best kept secret...
-
that will be cool...kind of how i was for me when they released half of the season on DVD, then waited forever to drop the second proverbial shoe
-
are they just still reeling from Force Commander? No excuse! I mean Full Throttle was awesome, what happened? I know, dont go down that road...look at all the game companies that are gone...kind of like the American aerospace industry...wait a minute!
-
"Solo shot first"...it could be black/white camcorder edition and I would giggle like a schoolgirl watching it everytime...
-
and then Boba Fett showing up...
-
I think you are right in that it was DF2:JK, then it kind of switched to being the JK series as opposed to DF-series... ah well that clears it up, thought I was missing something what about that new Force Unleashed? Isnt it scheduled to be console only?

maybe you already had this discussion...

Ah, if they didnt have Peter Cullen, it would have been ugly, period. I mean life goes on without Frank Wheeler, but Cullen is Optimus. Yeah, I was thinking the whole English accent thing was a toss to Lucas and his preference for English accents, maybe it is like supposed to make us think its art or high theatre...I mean as much as giant robots from outer space can be threatre... But again, let me emphasize that I like Megan Fox's character...she was believable and took the role so well...not the typical hollywood I am woman, but rather the true hero...that scene where she takes Bumblebee off in a wrecker (that she hot wired) was so cool...no whining, just business...reminded me of the Dust Off pilots in Viet Nam, heroes every one Good point about '86 being marketing not story telling...obviously the Japanese were not in charge of the movie...man what if they had and it was more of a funky anime storyline instead...actually sounds cool -
Ugh...that made no sense to me at all...kill your Aunt and become a Sith Lord...and their explanation of Ben's Love was...well...creepy...not buying that either...weak. And I am about tired of Alema Rar...seriously...she should teach Luke since she is indestructible... One thing that I do not like about the series is that the story only supports 3 books...and they are literally squeezing nine books out of it...I mean Exile was what, Ben goes to a weird planet and steals a Sith ship...Zahn could have done that in a paragraph and had you wanting more... Personally enjoying the Boba Fett as statesman / leader / family man even though I initially thought the idea repugnant ...kudos to Travis for making it interesting Finishing Fury next, then off to "professional reading" like Pack Six and stuff like that...those usually either make me pine for a real air war or depressed from the jacked up politics...hey, I dont want a real air war, trust me, just you know...

winrar can work for 7-zip files as well

- "As for size, the B-1B is actually larger than a B-52, it just doesn't look it. The B-2 is far shorter, but its wingspan is still greater than the KC-135s that refuel it." I thought I had read that, and wasnt the B-1A larger still? Seems like the B-1B can lift more than a C-5B as well...

Starstreak is cool, but an SA-20 is not to be taken lightly

I had some F-14 game (dont remember the name) for my Atari 7800...which was amazing over the 2600...you could not even pitch about 45 degrees, but at least it had a cockpit unlike River Raid...and jump jet was the first game I ever played on a PC...dont remember who made it You still have Tornado? I think I have Eurofighter someone like in a safe deposit box in a mini-humidor Not a flight sim, but cant go without mentioning Duke Nukem...you know 1,2, and 3...and please dont spoil it by mentioning Duke Nukem Never

Man...besides what, getting gnawed to death by a rabid badger? Nope, they were fully conscious and fighting to get out...read any of the accounts about the corrections that came out of that tragedy and some of the changes were shocking as in "how did the program ever consider that?" and some of the work was unfortunately rushed due to the nature of the Space Race, something that so few people remember was far more than national pride at stake. But their sacrifice directly contributed to changes that are still in place today and no doubt have kept other brave volunteers alive

couple of points: standard practice for 60 years in the fighter community is, eyes on bad guys, dump the bags, go get them... second, yes the Fishbed was designed as a point defense fighter; ie, range was not much of a consideration because the Doctrine was all about defense therefore no need to range very far if its over your ballpark personally, if I am about to mix it up with a flight of Crusaders I wait until the turning is about to begin, then ditch the bag and fang's out...watch the AI...that is what they do in the game also but I like the way that you are thinking, it gets more immersing that way, I caution you though as this game will disappoint you if you go too far down that path...as much as I ENJOY it, this is a game, not a simulation -
Ah...Rainbow 6...another thanks for infusing us with cash so we could get started now screw you series...
