  1. Might as well see if the October patch fixed some of the WOV gremlins.
  2. Digital Overload: Stock WOV lighting. I am not being evasive, but I am not at liberty to discuss the workings as it is not my property. Colmack: Yes. Rovert97: As in the real thing? No. Its more of a guide so you dont trap the wrong way down a one way street.
  3. Jug, Pretty easy, for example if you so desire. 4. Helluva nice job DO.! WIPS coming soon in Yankee Air Pirate v2. Poor Richard in recovery config. Ranger in recovery config, Connie in launch config. Group shot in recovery config, Ranger, Tico, Oriskany, Oiler Misipillion, DD Obrien. Wave off on the Tico. Its still a bugger to trap at night. Does not matter if your meatballs are homemade or canned.
  5. YAPv.2 is done. Fine tuning the missions. The website is almost ready for prime time. " 2 weeks". Any query's should be directed to zerocinco@yankeeairpirate.net
  6. Agree on most counts. AD, did I miss the fix for the fuel probe and tailhook on the F-105G? They operate at the same time and when closing, the hook stops and closes at a 90 degree angle to the fuselage on the right. Thats if your looking at the plane from the rear. Also, the canopy entries are present, but no workie. Thanks.
  7. Okey, Dokey, thanks for the guidance.
  8. WOV Patch, Montys Spad and Armour Daves Thuds are bouncing around like crackheads on Fenkell and Telegraph when on the runway. Is there a "fix" for this aside from reworking the AC? Thanks.
  9. For WOV this application unfortunately did not work. Any other suggestions? Thanks.
  10. Tried this application for Pasko's UH-1B in WOV. No luck. Any other suggestions. Thanks.
  11. Regarding the latest patch for WOV and Yankee Air Pirate. First back up. Then we are advising either to do a fresh install, patch and then add the YAP mods you wish, so you can decide which you want to keep and those you want to discard. Applying the patch directly to a current WOV/YAP install will wipe out most if not all of the YAP modifications.
  12. Got to have Lt.Col. Steve Canyon with a pack of Chesterfields for this one. Nice job.
  13. I just reloaded PSP 7 and I'm stumbling around the step(s) how the nose number changed from 2130 to 2136. Little help please.
  14. Apologies for the communucation snafu. As of now the plan is to archive YAP1 and it shall be available when YAP2-DFC is up. You will not need to have YAP1 to obtain YAP2.
  15. Misty Refuel (YAP)

    Misty Refuel
  16. Wrench can explain it in more detail, theres one formula but its a lot of work you must put into it. Statics and Cats. Helps if you have a program that will do the math for you, or its hit/miss trial and error. Your only limited by the amount of space the AC take up on deck and imagination. You can make as many versions of the ship as you like. Then you HAVE to make the mission(s) so they show up (they wont show randomly) and keep changing the aircraft if you wish to stay accurate, but thats part of the fun. Your talking about a lot of aircraft for example say in an Alpha Strike or Broken Arrow, full deck, empty deck, whats in the air etc. You may take hits with all those skins especially if you use non stock AC. Gut em. Have fun. Heres a small example with a few stock A-4's and F-8's.
  17. Current plan is that YAP1 will be archived and available when YAP2 is up and running. About "2 weeks". The site is undergoing modifications. The interuption is only temporary.
  18. Finally got WoV

For the moment lets forget about payware. "not fond of scripted missions"? Sorry , I dont understand that. YAP missions are real stories/missions told by the pilots/crew/etc that flew/witnessed them. So if that is scripted, then the single/campaign missions that come stock with WOV are the same. You lost me, far as WOV and your Q. Anything available for DL is scripted.
  19. Lets see....Misty FAC, Stormy FAC, Wolf06 SAR FAC, and ....stay tuned, YAP2=Bat21....hows that?
  20. Sam, Although you may find a multitude of assistance in the forums and we appreciate the help, it is best to first contact YAP if you have a YAP problem as we are the ones to rectify/advise on any errors regarding same. Thanks, Mike
  21. Kirbykern is correct. That is why we strongly suggest to have a seperate install of WOV/YAP, and a seperate clean install of any specific game for the patch process. Saves you time and grief. A lot of us learned the hard way. An installer will be considered once Zerocinco puts the padlock on YAP1.
  22. Thanks StormTrooper. Grant, we were just addressing that subject on another forum here: http://www.simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?...776#Post2490776 You can also go to the YAP site and click on the missions page to check out Helo missions.
  23. Women in uniform...

So there is no more "wondering" I'll just take it down. Stage photo or not, whatever AC it is, I stated where I got it, simply saved it to my bucket. Whatever.
