UK_Widowmaker Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 http://www.eaf51.org/Photoshop/Tutorial/Basic_Weathering.htm found this extremely useful http://www.graphics.com/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=305 and for Wood and Canvas
+Soulfreak Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Wow, thanks for the link! Will test it this evening!
+EricJ Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 It was touched on with the first (and second) article that a lot of this is just trial and error. References of the actual aircraft is also good if you want something more "realistic" (which I normally do for my aircraft as opposed to off the cuff sometimes) of course requires more stringent means, but when done right looks just as real as the aircraft itself. Nice finds though!
UK_Widowmaker Posted September 15, 2011 Author Posted September 15, 2011 Indeed Eric...though, with WW1 aircraft...it's all trial and error..due to the lack of pictures
