This is a Fokker E III Uffz Ernst Udet, KeK Habsheim March 1916.
The red stripe on this plane could have been black, but most historians
Believe it was red and in most all profiles you see it as red.

    8. (S!) ALL hi ;-)

This is a SP3 4658 Little Man, Italian Air Service Sq 26a Caporetto around 1917/18.
The art work on the nose of this plane was that of a comic character by author
Oronzo Marginati called ( Come ti erudisco il pupo ) in English is
( how I teach to the baby ) I call him ( Little Man )
This plane was around during the dark days of Caporetto the fate of this plane is Unknown,
SP3 pilots loved their SP3s so much that even when new machines
Arrived at the frontline the SP3s where not given up by their cures and where in
Service right up to 1920, the first fight that an SP3 had was with two Albatros D3
Where the SP3 downed both machines, it was not till a month later from its arrival
At the frontline that the first SP3 fell to the guns of an Albatros D3, SP3 pilots reported
That their SP3s where good dog-fighters and bombing platforms, this plane was also the
First that the Italian Air Service had their first great bombing campaign with.
If you would like to know more about the SP3, look for Windsock vol 19, #3, May/ June 2003,
      Part two by Alberto Casirati.
To the best of my knowing this is the first time that an SP3 has ever been in a flying sim.

Special thank you to Laton for giving me the opportunity to work
With him again on this plane and for bringing the SP3 to this sim.
Its been a great working with you.
