AW3 SKINS
The skins available at this site were designed by members of the VMF-525 Squadron. We have broken our skins into six different categories. Below is a description of what you will find in each of these categories. Choose a link to the Left.
1. HISTORIC SKINS AVAILABLE IN S.A.C.: These are skins that will be included in the newest version of the Kraits S.A.C. program (see link at bottom of this page). Created to represent actual color and designs used by the various Air Forces, squadrons and pilots which actually flew these planes.
2. HISTORIC PLANE SKIN BATTLE SETS: These are historic skins of planes put into sets and sorted either by the Squadron or Group they flew with or as Planes of a particular battle. These Sets are only available at this site. Created to represent actual color and designs used by the various Air Forces, squadrons and pilots which actually flew these planes.
3. HISTORIC PAC SKINS: These are historic skins of planes which flew in the Pacific theater during World War 2 and are only available at this site. Created to represent actual color and designs used by the various Air Forces, squadrons and pilots which actually flew these planes.
4. HISTORIC ETO SKINS: Historic Skins of Planes which flew in the European theater during World War 2 and are only available at this site. Created to represent actual color and designs used by the various Air Forces, squadrons and pilots which actually flew these planes.
5. HISTORIC KOREA SKINS: Historic Skins of Korean War era planes available only at this site. (May also include other post World War 2 Plane skins.) Created to represent actual color and designs used by the various Air Forces, squadrons and pilots which actually flew these planes.
6. PILOT CUSTOM SKINS: These are skins which aren't historically accurate, but are used by members of the VMF-525 on their favorite planes and are not squad specific.
7. VMF-525 SQUAD SKINS: These skins were made exclusively for the VMF-525 Squadron as its official skins.
