I finally finished setting up my full merged SF2 install (Mar2012 patch level), and now I'm looking forward to exploring all the legendary mods you’ve all created over the years. Just wanted to say hello, thanks for keeping this game alive, and I’m excited to learn from you all and fly some campaigns. See you around the forums! — Gorilla 3

+daddyairplanes Posted December 4 Posted December 4 welcome to the party! bit of advice, just fo ahead and update to the Jul 2013 patch (little surpised its not already). it should be available on TW site, but if not its available here the bulk of the mods on here for 2nd Gen are set up for it already, so therell be fewer hiccups (unlike the days where we get a patch like every other month, and a day later modders would be bitchin that the new patch broke their mod!)

I can recommend the Flogger pack or Fishbeds for that REDFOR itch, since God knows nobody else has them.
Gorilla Posted Tuesday at 07:47 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 07:47 PM Hi everyone, Just a small update from my side — I’ve now updated SF2 to the latest official patch and downloaded NATO Fighters 5. Everything installed cleanly, and I’m honestly excited like a kid again. Can’t wait for the winter break to properly dive into the campaigns and finally experience this mod the way it was meant to be played. The amount of work the community has put into SF2 over the years is genuinely impressive, and I’m grateful to be joining in a bit late but with a lot of enthusiasm.
