F5TigerIIGuy Posted March 17 Posted March 17 I sound like such a goober saying this lmao, but does anyone know how to give a radar the ability to actually acquire targets? Making a modernized F-111 (built on Fastcargo's F-111G) for myself and I have everything except the ARH capability, I can load the missiles, and the radar does search for targets and all, but when I press the keys to acquire targets, nothing happens, thus making the AMRAAMs all duds (which is counterintuitive)

Wrench Posted March 18 Posted March 18 why not just download the F-111B, navy version that's already set up for A-A?? 1

Wrench Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Ok, then think about this. I was giving you AN answer, without giving you THE answer. The information you seek is provided within that mod. If not, I can think of 3 others, all stock aircraft, that have the needed avionics data in their inis. I'm not being vague on purpose; this is how we all learned modding. For the most part, the answers are never handed outright. (thinking of the 1st time I had to rebuild a differential ... was shown how to reassemble it, then the guy took it all apart, handed me the pieces and 'your turn') 1

Sorry to ask again, but got a pointer to lead me in the right direction or something?
Wrench Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Ok, then. Here's an idea ... Since it's supposed to be modern, why not simply point the main ini to a stock avionics ini, with the proper dll listed, and see if THAT works. something like this ... Quote [AircraftData] AircraftFullName=Oscar EW-5894 "Phallus" AircraftShortName=EW-5894 AircraftDataFile=EW5894_data.ini LoadoutFile=EW5894_loadout.ini CockpitDataFile=F-15A_cockpit.ini LoadoutImage=Gnat_loadout.TGA HangarScreen=Phallus_hangar.JPG LoadingScreen= AvionicsDLL=Avionics70.dll <--- AvionicsDataFilename=F-15A_avionics.ini <--- 1

Love the placeholder name btw lol, also thanks will try that when I get the chance 1
Wrench Posted March 26 Posted March 26 I wasn't sure if I should have spelled it with the "Ph" or "F". I've seen it both ways 1
