squid Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 (edited) GeForce 6600GT, 81.85 NGO, DX 9.0c Anisotropic filtering has no effect in SF or WOV, where might be the issue ? And how can i get the objects, (planes, airfields etc) to appear at greater distance ? some ini editing ? Thanks Edited December 29, 2005 by squid
+Dave Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Maybe then SF/WOV doesnt use it. Or its your video card not working right.

+Fubar512 Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 i remmember it used to with my GF3 and 9600XT It works fine on my 6600 GT in both WoV and SF. What are you setting it at? Whatever you do, do not set the AF at "application controlled" because it will be disabled.
squid Posted December 29, 2005 Author Posted December 29, 2005 i tested it with 4x 8x and 16x and has always thea same appearance as if its off or application controlled
squid Posted January 10, 2006 Author Posted January 10, 2006 Found it. Resuming from hibernation has anisotropy effectively lost. Dont know why. I am using hibernation a lot, all needed is a restart.
