jollyrogers99 Posted Saturday at 09:02 PM Posted Saturday at 09:02 PM Hi everyone, I'm running into a frustrating RWR issue in a modded, merged Strike Fighters 2 North Atlantic installation. The Problem: On my player-flyable aircraft (specifically a custom F-15E installation), the RWR completely fails to give any audio tones or visual tracking icons when locked or painted by enemy fighters (MiG-29, Su-27, EF2000, MiG-21, etc.). However, the RWR works perfectly fine against ground-based SAM threats (SA-2, SA-6, SA-10, etc.), which display and sound exactly as they should. Any help or tracking insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Wrench Posted Saturday at 10:50 PM Posted Saturday at 10:50 PM delete ALL mods, and test in a Plane Jane install. If it works without the mods, there's something wrong with the mod; and that'll have to be run down seperately
alfa2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I think that your problem is one of the following: Threat library name mismatch. Check the name of the plane's Threat library found in the relevant entry in the avionics.ini file, and see if it matches with the *.lst file you have in the particular aircrafts folder. Also check where the Threat library is contained and if the exact file path is the same with the one mentioned in the avionics.ini file. Threat library contents mismatch with the threats tga's contained in the "Flight" folder.See if the missing threats are also not present in the said folder.
