KJakker Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Anyone have a recommendation for software that can calculate the aerodynamics of a 3D model?
Jimbib Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago It kind of depends what you're looking to do, and paid software solutions for computational fluid dynamics and finite element analysis can get very expensive (e.g. Solidworks, Ansys) Having said that, something like OpenFOAM might help as it's a free solution and seems well regarded online. https://www.openfoam.com/ NASA also has FUN3D in their software catalogue although you would need to request access to it. https://software.nasa.gov/software/LAR-20188-1 1
