AC130 Gunship problems.

Recommended Posts

I have managed to get lots of new aircraft to work but some just don?t. I have adjusted the date and this has sorted some problem aircraft out but others no. In WoV.

AC130 gunship ? has a cockpit bit no aircraft on outside view. There is no texture set in the skin folder ? could that be the problem?

J7 III ? does not show up on aircraft selections window.

Tucano - does not show up on aircraft selections window.

Sea King helicopter - does not show up on aircraft selections window.

Sidewinder, doesnt he have to get SFP1 and go from there to get the LOD files as you previously mentioned? I am confused, since now you cost me $4.99 and gas to boot!!

For the AC-130, you need the files from the Stock C-130 in the first game Strike Fighters Project One. They built it using those files to present the outside view

For the rest of the aircraft that are showing up in the selection screens, you will need to play around with the name of the directory in the objects/aircraft folders. I forget how SFP1 and WOV does it but if the directory that the files are stored in aren't named a certain way according the the *.ini file then the plane won't show. The other thing to check is to make sure that when you unpacked them that you don't have nesting folders.

Just some ideas.

Here you can find some documents/tutorials that can help you

PaperWorks

Just bear in mind that some of the documents have not been updated to reflect some of the newer patches changes. But it should help you.

I am not quite clear of this message.

If the proper file structure is followed, you should not have problems with the SuperTucano or the SeaKing.

My guess is that you have double nested folders, did you read the document on airplane folders?

Yes, I guess that must be it. Most of your models work fine ? thanks for those by the way ? capun!

If you ever want to make something else ? Su 25 Frogfoot and T28 Trojan ? would be my request.

I found a flyable C-130j in ?modern? aircraft section. I have managed to put the SEA skin on it but not the cockpit and weapons yet. Do you think that I will be able to on this aircraft?
