VMFA-121 badge shuffle question

Hey Gruppe,

In WOV VMFA-121 A-4E/Fs don't have the Green Knight badge on the fuselage as flown during thier tour. I would like to put the Green Knight badge on the side of the plane. The F-4J in the sim with VMFA-121 has the badge ( Greeen Knight chess piece, white circular field, green border ) on the tail. Is there anyway I can copy and paste that badge from the game files to the side of an A-4 were it rightfully belongs? :ph34r: CL

Oops, the Green Knights were VMA-121 with the A-4 I believe. It shows up as as VMFA onWOV. The squadron type changed with AC.There is a VMA-121 web site www.vma121.net. They were not always the Green Knights. the badge or patch was located in the middle of the fuselauge. For some reason I could not download the picture on that site. I was fiddlin around with the badge,,& came up with this...

 

Don't know how accurate it is,,cause i don't have a pic....

Sweet! Here are screenshots of the two box stock AC I'm yammering about. They show up as USMC grey / USMC / VMA-121 when arming. on the A-6 there is a nice "scary tiki style" green knight that could be fun to paste around to. :ph34r: CL

No,,,couldn't find stock decals,,had to make it...

 

Only thing with that is,,you will have to make a seperate VMA 121 folder or else all of your A-4E's will have the Green Knight insignia on the side...

 

Thats no problem though,,i did it with a couple fictional F-19's i've done....
