F-5 in WOE

Tried to add F-5E to WOE and it won't fly . Any help?

Could you be more specific? Does it blow up on the runway? Does it cause a CTD when you try to load it? Does it not show up on the list of available planes? There are a number of things that might make a plane non-functional.

If I start in the air It won't gain arispeed, even at full AB, If I start on the runway it won't move at all.

 

In the air I can get abought 135kn

Are you running it on a 3rd-party terrain or on a stock terrain?

This sucks -- I think this problem has been covered before and the solution is relatively simple. But it eludes me anyway.

 

If nobody else picks up this thread, you could probably find the solution through a forum search. Sorry for the lame advice.

This doesn't sound like any of the Mirage Factory's F-5s. Copy and paste the the engine section of the F-5E_Data.ini and we'll help you fix it.

Here's the fix, courtesy of Florian-AmokFloo-Schneider:

 

 

 

Open the F-5e_DATA.ini and remove in the first section (MissionData) the "," in the "Ceiling" Line.

Ceiling=50,800 ------> change to: Ceiling=20800

MinBaseSize=MEDIUM

 

 

 

That should cure it.

You speak about the Mig28 version, this leads me to think you use an old F-5E model

 

Check out for the Mirage Factory model, you shouldn't have any problem with it (and it comes with a swiss skin, fitting nicely in WoE ;) )
