How to see other flight members?

When i take off,i circle the field until the entire flight is airborne, As each plane takes off i tell it to form up (tried different formations).

 

I can never see my flight members! Once in a while, over the target area i can see one if i tell him to attach my target.

 

If i go to an external view and rotate around my plane, i still dont see them.

 

How to get the flight in formation and how to view them (in formation)?

Your flght should form on you as soon as they get airborne. If you go hell's bell's to the target they may never catch up with you in time! When you get airborne and at a reasonable altitude, reduce your airspeed give your wingies a chance to get to you.

also by pressing the F6 key

savagkc--Hit the "Y" key and you will cycle through you friendly a/c starting with you wingee. Once selected you can padlock them or switch to external player to target...whatever key that is.
