snapple2993 Posted March 31, 2003 Posted March 31, 2003 This was an accomplishment for me. I am really bad at landing, and this time I took a LA-7 in with loss of engine power, and only one landing gear, and executed a perfect landing, balancing the plane using the rudder and ailerons to unicycle it to a suitable stopping speed. Notice everything is intact exept for the right gear. Quote
snapple2993 Posted April 2, 2003 Author Posted April 2, 2003 since nobody else is taking screenshots, I'll post another. :D Quote
+pcpilot Posted April 6, 2003 Posted April 6, 2003 Ill try to get some screenies tonight, preferablly of you getting shot by me, hehe. Quote

Dialoguewiththestars Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 Now THIS is impressive: I set up a quick mission flying a Finnish Hurricane Mk.I against a Russian Pe-8 with a single FAB-5000 at an altitude of only 100 m. I shot up the bomber to the point where it dropped its bomb...and a few seconds later, WHOA! Mushroom cloud right in my face! Quote
Guest Ranger332 Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 what the heck you drop lol sure it wernt a 50000000 lol Quote
Dialoguewiththestars Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 Yeah, if that's a 5000 kilogram bomb (11,000 lbs.) I really can't imagine what a 15 megaton (30,000,000,000 lbs.) explosion is like. Quote
+pcpilot Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 Dangme! That looks like the MOAB precurser. I can see why they only need to carry and drop one! SHEESH! Im gonna hafta try this one, hehe. Look out Berlin... Quote
snapple2993 Posted May 12, 2003 Author Posted May 12, 2003 I dont know if it's possible to top the "Nuke", but I like this one. Quote
+pcpilot Posted May 23, 2003 Posted May 23, 2003 Had a La-7 in dire straights pickin pieces outta his tail feathers when one of his squadron mates came to his rescue and ruined my next score... Quote
snapple2993 Posted May 26, 2003 Author Posted May 26, 2003 Snapped this one after I dropped 2 500kg's somewhere near this yak online (I blew my 111 up in the process). The guy I bombed, was like (WTF! JUST HIT ME!), I think he may have been tossed and turned a bit, looks like a giant shotgun got'em pretty good. Quote
+pcpilot Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 LOL! Yeah, bet the guy you blew up stained his drawers, hehe. I try to stay at least 250 meters when bombing, higher if possible. Quote
snapple2993 Posted August 10, 2003 Author Posted August 10, 2003 Okay here's a pic of the eye candy in the mission I made (that nobody downloaded...boo f*cking hoo... your loss ) Its in PC's rollyerown mission/campaign thread. Quote
snapple2993 Posted August 12, 2003 Author Posted August 12, 2003 Got these yesterday, I'm the one in the 111... damn heathens, they had no pity. I was supposed to torp the harbor of Anapa, so I loaded up the He111 and headed out low along the coast; unfortunatly a P-47 was able to knock out my starboard engine before he got wasted by an escorting fighter. I was able to run on one engine for a bit, but eventually had to bring her down (I thought I could still torp  ). My plane was intact when I landed, but I'm sure the huge plume of smoke coming from the engine made me any easy find. It ended up being a strafing run on me... BUT! my gunners got 2 of em before that P-39 finally crashed into me. So here are the screens. :D Quote
S77th-KMA Posted August 12, 2003 Posted August 12, 2003 While I;m waithing for the patch, here's a shot I got of Col.Tman right after he tore me up: Quote
MajBlunder Posted August 18, 2003 Posted August 18, 2003 This damn plane took forever to take down Quote
snapple2993 Posted August 18, 2003 Author Posted August 18, 2003 I love shootin them big birds, just pick the engines off one by one. I actually taught my 4 yr old nephew to play IL2 by showing him how to shoot down that big ass thing; I flew and he pulled the trigger. Quote
MajBlunder Posted August 18, 2003 Posted August 18, 2003 I normally dont have a problem aiming at the engines, but I installed a MSFF2 joystick and when pullin the trigger on the cannons it really takes aiming to a new demension or should I say hitting something Quote
+pcpilot Posted September 6, 2003 Posted September 6, 2003 I had the same problem, but I found that if the aircraft trim is properly set, a lot of the vibration from the FF joystick disappears. Quote
