Anybody got this problem?

Recommended Posts

I have installed 3 aircrafts made from Mirage Factory and they just look like the invisible!! (Check the screenshot that I just added)

Can anyone have this kind of problems?

===================================

List of the aircrafts:

*F-14A

*F-5E

*F-21 Kfir

(All thost files in *.exe format)

Installed to Wings Over Europe

====================================

Help because I have no idea to fix this problem

PS: Does anyone know the Mirage Factory's website? I could contact the developers with my problem.

Check your file names and paths and make sure they match what is in the (aircraft).ini. I've had this with a few planes and solved them all. Usually it was a slight difference in file name or path which left the aircraft with no skin, hense the product of your screen shot. Also I once had a MiG-23M that I had accidentally installed a texture set which was for a different 3D model, but that shouldn't be the case fr your F-14 there as if I'm not mistaken the Mirage Factory's is the only F-14 3D mesh at this time.

Hope that solves your problem.

Some developers put the aircraft in a folder,such as, F_14a and the aircraft.ini file says F-14a.ini

Yes,there is a difference between underscore and dash.

The main aircraft folder has to say the same name as the aircraft.ini.

You can change either one as long as both are the same.

I then go to single missions. If the aircraft is there in the dropdown list it usually will work.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies. I just sorted out the problem, and I finally have visible tomcat squad! :good:

Let me just state what I did in case someone gets this same problem in the future:

1. Open [Aircraft].ini file and look up LOD

2. Rename the name of lods with what you have in the specific aircraft folder

3. Save the *.ini file

Thanks again guys, Happy New Year~! :wink:
