HornetHandler Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Hello I was wondering if someone could help me find out what happened to my AGM-65 Mavericks. Whenever I decide to take the A-10 for a hop I have no Mavericks available in the load out screen. Actually I have not noticed any Mavericks lately in any aircraft loadout screens. Since merging WOE to WOV I've added YAP missions 1-10 and Nato Fighters I & II. I obviously overwrote some file somewhere but I do not know where to start looking. BTW I now do backups before installing any new files. Sure hope someone can help. Thanks. Jeff Quote
HornetHandler Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 Are you using Bunyap's Weapons Pack? Thank you Tristan for the fast reply. No, I have not installed this pack yet as I am afraid it may screw up my YAP files. Does anyone know for sure if this pack will overwrite necessary YAP files? Thanks again. Jeff Quote
jtin Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I'd recommend having two different installs, 1 of YAP, and another of NF, since the weapons might overwrite each other. Quote
+Wrench Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 (edited) Not "might", WILL overwrite. You need seperate installs for YAP and NF; otherwise problems will ensue. While not truly incompatable, they are designed (especially NATO Fighters), as stand alone units. (the NF readme states this pretty clearly) So,you need : 1) install of WoV for Yap and 2) install of WoE for NF. {can't say about merged installs, as when I 1st installed WoE, for some reason it never asked me. Let me tell you, it was mind-bogglingly difficult to copy/paste the VietnamSEA terrain folder into WoE! } I've got something between 9-12 installs for all the games (SF,WoE,WoV and FE). Modded, unmodded, test installs (for weapons tweeking), theatre and era specific, etc IT's the only way to fly!! Wrench Kevin Stein Edited March 20, 2007 by Wrench Quote
HornetHandler Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 Thank you jtin and Wrench. I already had a separate install for WOV but then I tried to merge everything together in one install. I agree with you guys and I will do separate installs. Thank you for your help! Much appreciated. Jeff Quote
