Much as I love the Phantom, I am oh, so loyal to the A-7 Corsair, having been in three squadrons with them. Perhaps someone needs to create a composite squadron.... Go NAVAIR! navychief 1 Posted May 18, 2003 Hey Amourdave Well, naturally I would have to say either ATKRON Fifteen (VA-15) Valions, or ATKRON Eight-Three (VA-83) Rampagers; since I was in both of them. As for a composite squadron? Well, just a thought, but what about a composite squadron made up of F-4s, A-7s, F-8s, A-6s, .....all from the Vietnam Era? US Navy, of course, hehehehe... snapple2993 0 Posted May 18, 2003 I'm HERE!!! A-6??? 8) that would be cool, if we could do what I suggested a while ago (alpha strikes)... All navy of course :D i love the A-6, but I will admit that my bombing skills are rather poor in comparison to my A2A skills. Also chief, I have been able to get in touch with more than half the squad, and it's seems that they and I as are you and skip are all awaiting patch 2.
