Blakrain Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 i have a question to actual aviation veterans. What did it feel like the first time you flew a plane? Quote
FastCargo Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 Busy...too busy to enjoy myself. First real flight (not just a 'ride') was in a glider, being towed by a Piper Cub. Like trying to water ski and fly at the same time. FastCargo Quote
Jrz Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 Very nervous on the ground, but very relaxed when we were in the air (I simply had no time to worry or to be nervous hehe). I really enjoyed it, it feels great when you realise that you are the one who is in control of that mighty machine. Quote
Shashman Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 Felt awesome. I was learning to fly before I'd even driven a car and I just loved the total freedom. Having said that, the almost constant checks and procedures were a bit of a headache at times so you really have to be able to multitask well. Quote
