Guest capun

It's an interaction between the gunpod (which is its own Mesh/LOD) animation and the plane mesh/LOD gear animation.

You normally set the weapon animation to AnimationID=1 (frames 1-10) and this problem happens sometimes if part or all of your gear animations are within the same AnimationID.

I think this problem was reported to TK but it would be helpful to post this problem at his technical support forum at his site to remind him about it.

All of our models avoid using AnimationID=1 so we don't run into this problem.

What are you going to do?

You just cannot change the AnimationID for the gears in the Data ini file, they are tied into the 3DS Max model that creates the LOD.

You can change it in the Data ini but you have to start in the air since the gears won't be working normally

Easy fix would be to NOT load a gunpod of the Foxbat....never seen any evidence that they could carry one.

btw, this also happens when putting a GP on the Vigilante, too.

Again, llike Capun said, it's an animation conflict, and can't be fixed.

It's a known issue on the F-5E when using a gunpod also. So it's not an isolated thing with the Foxbat.

SEARCH... it's a wonderful thing!
