Well, if I had to take a guess, I'd say of modern aircraft, any of the Flanker variants. Not only can they carry their smaller IRMs (Atoll and Archer) but their larger Alamos have IR variants as well, both in normal and 'long stick' varieties. The number of hardpoints escapes me though. I suspect you'll get an answer from some Flanker fans soon enough.

Actually, now I think about it some more...in total A2A missiles, the F/A-18 may carry more. I've seen pictures of Hornets with 12 Slammers. However, since there are no AMRAAMs with IR seekers, total IRM count still belongs to the Flanker variants. Anyone with Typhoon/Rafale/Gripen knowledge can pipe in on this one...I'm probably missing something...

In regards to Deuce's page, the F-4 is carrying 3 MERs and 2 TERs, plus the usual A/A missile complement of 4x AIM-7s and 4x AIM-9s.

Actually what I want is an aircraft for woe with +12 hard points for missiles, i can edit the ini file to use IR instead of radar guided missiles.

Well, it's not my project, but it is currently in work and will be up here at Combatace once it's finished. I suspect it'll be released here pretty soon...trust me on this one.

Can you actually take off with that much ordinance? When I was testing the XL, the standard load was more difficult than usual.

Hey, don't be in so much of a hurry, we're just slow readers here.

With the Flanker, if you used twin IR racks on the intake racks and the 4 underwing hardpoints, there's 8. Add the two wingtip IRs, there's 10. Then you could add, say, 2x large Russian IRs on the centerline hardpoints. There's 12... And you were going to slum it with some crappy mini-Rhino...

F-16A B C D E and F can load up to 6 IR misiles.

The Su-27 too, all 6 wing stations are IRM capable but only the inner wing stations for R-27T. The centerline and intake hardpoints are not IRM capable.

Don't know about the 2 extra wing stations on the Su-33...yet...
