F-86K 331 Squadron 1957

 

Tail Decal is one decal in a whole. So far its one meg per tail. Planning on doing twenty serials in all. After this, its a couple of F-86F's for Norway.

Looking good. One bit of advice, set the decal opacity to 85% so it looks more natural on tail, like it was actually painted on. Most of us decal people do that.

334 Squadron (not 331)

 

Just an update rebuilt the whole tail decal. Found a better picture source. Just need to darken the lettering a tad bit more and fix the tail paint some.

a tip for the Decals on the tail.

if you´ve got templates, paint the sq-patch and the flag direkt on the

tail, that looks more realistig as the decals now. ;)

And the numbers, do em as USAFMTL said!
