TPN_Bard Posted July 1, 2003 Posted July 1, 2003 I am in the process of putting together a SIMPLE competition for an engagement oriented roundrobin. It will be open to north american based squads only at the moment, but if the LOMAC netcode can handle it it will be expanded at a later date. Obviously there are very few details on the format etc since we don't have our hands on it yet, but if anyone is interested in being part of the process for the initial go at this please drop by our website. Guest Ranger332 Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 I and at least 2 others in my sqd would be interested Quote
TPN_Bard Posted July 5, 2003 Author Posted July 5, 2003 probably not. This is to be squad vs squad. Quote
Inferno Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 Plans of global domination ruined! :mad2:   Quote
Seawolf Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 Is this to be some sort of ladder Bard? if so then couldnt Inferno participate in 1v1 engagements? or are you only planning on 4v4 etc? The reason I ask is because joining a squad is not something you just do without really researching first and it takes time to find the right one for you. Some cant because of thier time restraints, but they should be able to participate as independents I would think. Quote
TPN_Bard Posted July 6, 2003 Author Posted July 6, 2003 The main idea is it's a TEAM ladder for squads, where missions will be designed to require teamwork. It's going to be a lot easier to administer If i have to keep in contact with a couple of people representing groups rather than individuals. Quote
S77th-Dante Posted July 8, 2003 Posted July 8, 2003 Sounds Promising, S77th will want to be involved. Quote
