+Crusader Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Dels, nice kite again ! Hope you find some time to make the old school pit for it. Dont worry about the shadow, the next patch will bring a change, then the shadow is directly casted off the main lod... The First Eagles Expansion Pack 1 is already using this new code, as seen in the ini entry from the Fokker DVII below: [shadow] CastShadow=TRUE ShadowCastDist=10000 MaxVisibleDistance=800 No extra shadow lod anymore Quote
+ghostrider883 Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Great work Dels. Thank you very much Quote

Guest Saganuay82 Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 (edited) Question dels about the hole in the front of the right wheel well. Since you fly Hercs, what is that for? I see it in pics of the J but not the H. Edited October 28, 2007 by Saganuay82 Quote
+Dels Posted October 28, 2007 Author Posted October 28, 2007 Question dels about the hole in the front of the right wheel well. Since you fly Hercs, what is that for? I see it in pics of the J but not the H. Which hole? If you mean the one right at the front that looks like an intake, it's the intake for the Cargo Air Conditioning Pack. The exhaust is a round hole below the intake, forward of the MLG doors. All hercules that are C-130H and later have that type of air con inlet. That's the main way you can tell the difference between an E and a H (also the Flight Station Air Conditioner and APU inlet/exhaust). Quote
+Crusader Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Dels, on your camo skin, the left side is missing the CM dispensers. Quote

+Dels Posted February 18, 2008 Author Posted February 18, 2008 Recently, while I was doing the final testing on my C-130E I found that the landing light positions on all my Hercs were incorrect. To fix it, do this: Open you C-130H_DATA.ini file and go to the very bottom section where the light positions are. Make the following changes: [inboardTaxiLight1] SystemType=LIGHT Color=0.88,0.88,0.88 Brightness=0.10 Position=-2.650,0.125,-1.124 <------Change to -2.650,1.15,-1.124 LightSrcOffset=2.43,80.0,3.0 LightSrcRange=90 LightRange=45.0 CanFlash=FALSE LightNodeName=LandingLight IsLandingLight=TRUE [inboardTaxiLight2] SystemType=LIGHT Color=0.88,0.88,0.88 Brightness=0.10 Position=2.775,0.125,-1.124 <------Change to 2.775,1.15,-1.124 LightSrcOffset=-2.43,80.0,3.0 LightSrcRange=90 LightRange=45.0 CanFlash=FALSE LightNodeName=LandingLight IsLandingLight=TRUE and, [LandingLight1] SystemType=LIGHT Color=0.88,0.88,0.88 Brightness=0.10 Position=-7.400,0.50,1.825 <------Change to -7.408,0.50,1.825 LightSrcOffset=1.0,80.0,3.0 LightSrcRange=90 LightRange=45.0 CanFlash=FALSE LightNodeName=LandingLight IsLandingLight=TRUE [LandingLight2] SystemType=LIGHT Color=0.88,0.88,0.88 Brightness=0.10 Position=7.705,0.50,1.825 <------Change to 7.54,0.50,1.825 LightSrcOffset=-1.0,80.0,3.0 LightSrcRange=90 LightRange=45.0 CanFlash=FALSE LightNodeName=LandingLight IsLandingLight=TRUE Quote
