Hi all,

I noticed a probably a small bug in this add-on.

Due to a bombing mission I had to destroy a plane on the ground.

I had to hit with bombs and 63 hit with the canon but the plane was still alive.

What kind of material is that plane made from?

Is there something to change in the inni or data files?

:casstet:

striker01- it's no bug. The targets are simply placed for practice. The a/c happen to be an object Bunyap created for the range simply because there are no static a/c by default in the game. There is no destroyed lod done for it. The range was not designed for regular missions with objectives. It's all just to hone your A2G skills.

Hi Deuces,

I understand that but when I destroy for example a tank or a fuel truck as a primary target I get my points and a well done. When I have to destroy the planes I get a mission failed at the end of the mission.

Deuces

- I downloaded a mission aways back where you destroyed aircrat on the runway. I modified it a couple times with any plane I wanted. When they made the mission they put the fuel in the plane to zero so it could not move. I do not know if this could help but could it be possible to modify your range and put such an aircraft with no fuel, that way when you bomb the plane it will explode. This might even be a dumb question but thought I would ask if it could improve the targets in your range. Very Nice Work and thanks!

It would probably work except there is no actual enemy airfield . The only game airfield is the friendly base. The dirt runway at the range is part of the terrain. Now there is a city called out and you could add an airfield if so inclined :)

The range is open to anyone that would like to mod it further. That was kind of the idea. To give others a wide open map to do anything they want. It's a real good area for guys wanting to try some modding out, to do so.

Thanks Bernard,

Was not able to post here before due to a misunderstanding on my part of how the sign-in data base worked.
