So, after noticing that I get the "fuel tank" or "runway" target 80% of the time...how do you modify the target files in WOE in order to have a little more variety

So, after noticing that I get the "fuel tank" or "runway" target 80% of the time...how do you modify the target files in WOE in order to have a little more variety

 

 

You must open the GERMANYCE_TYPES.INI file and edit de TargetValue. For example:

 

[TargetType008]

Name=fire_dept

FullName=Building

ModelName=fire_dept.lod

TargetType=MISC

ActiveYear=0

TargetValue=20 ---------------change this number, while more higher values, more chance to attack this object will get

UseGroundObject=FALSE

DamagePoint=10.0

ArmorType=0

RepairRate=0.555

StartDetectChance=0

StartIdentifiedChance=0

IncreaseDetectChanceKey=0

MaxVisibleDist=8000.0

DamagedModel=

DestroyedEffect=MediumShortStructureCollapse

DestroyedModel=fire_dept_destroyed

SecondaryChance=50

SecondaryEffect=MediumExplosionEffect

Don't forget, Sparky, you want to give the CommBuilding a VERY high target value -- around 10000 points!!! :rofl:

 

You can also edit the min target values in the SingleMissions.ini:

 

[TargetValues]

MinStrikeTargetValue=05

HeavyStrikeValue=1000

NormalStrikeValue=200

 

"20" is the stock number. This will open up all kinds of low value targets; tents, small fuel tanks, various buildings and such. You'll just have to double check the target values throughout the types ini, and adjust as necessary.

I know...seems like WOE traded the damnevilcommbuilding for fuel tanks and a runway...so if I set fuel tank value to 0, then they will not be on the create mission list?
