MER and TER rank weapon drop sequence

Hi I'm seeking clarification about MER and TER the .ini list the attachment points and I assume the rack drop weapons in order of point 1 then 2 then 3.

 

Can I change the sequence of the weapons being drop by simply changing the order the points are arranged?

 

The order I want to change the racks to is something like this.

 

MER

4 2 6

5 1 3

 

TER

3 1 2

You find these values in the cockpit file of each aircraft.

Ripple refers to the release settings. Quantity is the number of bombs to release with each push of the button, and interval is the time lag between each bomb release.

 

 

The ripple interval is in milliseconds. Both ripple quantity and interval can be cycled in-game using the bracket keys> [ and ].

Roger; the cockpit ini reference is to, "how do you change the drop/launch sequence on a mer or ter". Gocad said it was in the pit file, but it must only be on certain aircraft. :dntknw:

to change the order of release on the TER/MER you must change the order of their attachment points, in the WEAPONDATA.ini :wink:

I replied to two different questions there. My remark about the pit file had nothing to do with the TER/MER racks. Drop sequence of the racks and the ripple quantity/intervals are not related at all. :wink:
