JediMaster Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I think we could use the Sukhoi SS bomber more than a trainer, but I'll gladly take either. Quote

Gr.Viper Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I've got a 200-page Russian book on the bigger and uglier T-4. Max speed - 3200km/h at 20-24 km altitude Plans, pit shots, loadout schemes, flight test results, info on modifications and further development... Quote
Silverbolt Posted March 3, 2008 Author Posted March 3, 2008 i ever know this bird as Sukhoi Su-100 Quote
Gr.Viper Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 It was designed by Sukhoi and was indeed given number "100" but that was a factory name. The T-4 from Monino air museum is "101" variant, "102" and "103" were disassembled The original name "100" was simply given because the caclulated wieght of the design was about 100 tons. There IS a Su-100 but it's a "self-propelled gun 100(mm caliber)" - a tank destroyer. Quote
